I would like to join a $500 or $250, 10 or 12 team league this year. I am looking for one that pays out most of the entry fees. Anybody have any good experience with any site in particular?

I've played in a $500 league at Antsports for the past four years and it's been great. No problems on payouts, competitive league, and well run.

Antsports is a one person operation. Their reporting sucks, their live scoring is weak at best, customer support- HA HA!. I stopped playing there last year, I don't recommend it for the price you are looking for. I wouldn't play there for $10.

Go to the Looking for Leagues Forum and you should find some ideas. Addicts pays out 100% except for MFL cost.

Have you noticed that the web site hasn't changed in 5 years? I am a web developer and I have had email conversations with AntSports begging them to update their software, nothing ever changed. You can't even compare your players on your team to see scoring trends. You can't see any stats other than fantasy points scored, etc. I built a better stats program for my FF league back in 1994 then he has on his web site now... If mine was a little better I would have been rich, but mine still destroys what AntSports has today. Now they might be good at getting payouts for money leagues, but I know of 3 times where he didn't send someone their crappy trophy for one of the $10 leagues, one of those being me.

I agree that antsports sucks. Another problem is there timely payouts. Two years in a row I won money and had to email him to ask when I was getting paid. Both times he couldn't believe I didn't get the check yet, it must have been lost in the mail. First year I kind of believed him, but the 2nd time was enough. I did get paid both times, but took an email to get me paid. Haven't played since.

Have used Fantasyheadquarters.com the past 3 years...

Payout has never been an issue. Pretty good live scoring and online draft goes very smoothly. Pay out 4 spots of both 10 and 12 team leagues.

Definitely worth a look...
