started at least one game last year in the NFL.

I can find sites where I can find out how many games different QBs PLAYED in but I need to find out how many different QBs STARTED games last year.

Thanks for any help you all can provide!

I speculated on this in a thread a couple of weeks ago. I could have missed a few, but I came up with something like 51 QBs who started last season.

No help but can I ask why you want it?

Sure...needed some hard numbers (or in this case fairly hard) numbers for my freelance article.

It's on the advantages of starting 2 QBs.

when listing stat leaders most sites have a minimum number of starts or yards etc to be on the list.

If you went player page by player page you'd find it in the GS column on several sites.

I've got 58...

Adds to 512 (16 games * 32 teams), so I believe this is accurate.

I love any article / poster who is fighting the start 2-QB battle!

Here's a good thread from earlier this year with several good posts. Some stats to do with starters, although nothing summarized as nicely as above. Still, worth the read!

2 QB Leagues the way to go !

I hope that wasn't a lot of work on your part, but thanks a ton....makes for a good counterpoint...
No problem at all. It wasn't a lot of work, just a database query. On the 2 QB thing, I really liked a league I set up last year which added QB as a flex option and had more than a typical number of starting positions. Scoring still favors QBs vs. other positions, so the aim is to get 2 reliable QBs to start each week, but on byes and when a team hits hard times due to injury or demotion, they do not have to start 2. I think it struck a nice balance of giving QB more value but not too much value.

Rules overview:

Rosters – 20 man rosters.

Lineups – Required starters are 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 2 O-Flex, 1 DEF. The O-Flex can be QB/RB/WR/TE/K but can only start max 2 QB, and max 3 RB.

Scoring –

QB/RB/WR/TE:

- PaYd 0.05 points; PaTD 4 points; PaINT -1 point

- RuYd 0.10 points; RuTD 6 points

- ReYd 0.10 points; ReTD 6 points; Fumble -1 point

- Receptions = 0.5 points per recept for RB, 1 point per recept for QB/WR/TE

- 2 point conversion = 2 points for pass, rush or recept 2-point score

K:

- FG 3 points; FG > 39 yards +1 point; FG > 49 +2 points; missed FG -1 point; XP 1 point

DEF/ST:

- Sack 1 point; Turnover 1 point; FR/INTRet/KR/PR/Block punt or kick TD 6 points; Safety 2 points

- Shutout 7 points; Allow 1-7 points = 3 points; Allow 8-14 points = 1 point

This was a 13 team league.
