Looking for any insight on some DB's (1 Viewer)

I have room to take a few fliers on some DB's and wanted to see what anyone thought of a few guysonnie Nickey - Tank Williams contract is up. Nickey performed pretty well when he was forced to start a few games late last year.Clinton Hart - Don't know much about him, but his contract is up after this year and he filled in with some decent stats when Kiel was out.James Butler - Just a rookie, but how much longer can Brent Alexander keep playing.Coy Wire - Never really got a chance after they brought in Milloy. Maybe Buffalo lets Wire or Milloy go and he gets a chance.Yeah I know this is reaching, but this is a really deep league.Thanks for any inisights.

Have heard some good things about Heart over at the Chargers board, not so much about Nickey on the Titans board ... they seem to hate Nickey and think he has no talent.

I like Butler the best out of that group. Even though he was an UFA, he carried a mid round grade for most of the time leading up to the draft, and had good NFL measureables. Plus, safeties are just not valued in the draft unless they are elite prospects. Most of the top safety prospects lasted until the 4th-5th round this year, so the UFA status is deceiving. Shaun Williams is done, and Brent Alexander should not be starting in the NFL. I think he gets a shot next year.

I'm not sure if Williams is completely done, but Butler would be my choice off that list. I kind of like Wire as well.

I was exaggerating a little. Williams is not done in the NFL, but he's been way too banged up recently for me to ever trust him again.

Talent-wise, I've always liked Coy Wire a lot and Milloy can't last forever.

Another guy available is Ernest Shazor. I am still puzzled by what happened to keep him from getting drafted. I heard he had some personal issues or something along those lines. AZ has one of the better SS's in Adrian Wilson so I'm not sure if he has much of a chance for next year.

Shazor is a classic LB/SS tweener. if he has a future in this league, i think its at LB, not SS.
