I believe I heard a stat earlier this year that when Grossman had a 5 passer rating it was the lowest ever....he has a 0 right now. Yes, a goose egg. If he has 10 more yards or 1 more completion, he would have a rating...but for now it is a zero.

I was watching the last Bears-Vikings game at a bar with a good mix of fans for both teams. For most of the game, Bears fans were cheering for Brad Johnson and the Viking fans were cheering for Rex. It looked like a possible double zero rating for a while but it only became the lowest combined rating ever I believe. Great times.

The amazing thing is that a QB can have a passer rating higher than zero just by throwing every single pass incomplete. To have a zero means that you've hurt your team worse than just throwing every single pass straight into the ground!

Not sure why sacks aren't in the rating calculator. Int's are. So if you stand back there and wait for a WR but get sacked you are rewarded with no int's being included. There's guys with identical ratings each year and one has 40 sacks and one 10. Ability to read a D should be included.
