After starting 2-2, I traded SA, CJ, Mo Morris and Pennington for LT, Turner and Michael Robinson. I've gone 8-1 since (with my only loss being the week Gore, Holt, Muhammad and Heap were on bye). I ended up with the best record and most points scored and a first round bye.

the LT owner is owns the best record and high points in all 3 of my leagues. sadly, i'm only the LT owner in one of those leagues.

Our redraft league does draft order similar to the NFL - the worst teams from the previous year gets the better picks. Last year's worst team drafted Tomlinson this year and still managed to not make the playoffs - there is a reason he is the worst team in the league. At least the putz won enough games that he won't get Tomlinson next year

I'm in 3 leagues and actually own LT in 2 of them. In my main league I not only made the playoffs I just finished the regualr season 12-1, in the other league I have LT I need a win next week and help to make the playoffs. Oddly I have the same starting RB's, QB and TE in both leagues. The difference is in the the second league it is very TD heavy and you start 17 positions (5 IDP, 1 team D) so one player only helps so much, plus return yards count and turnovers are a -3 so it took me until about week 5 to figure out Chris Carr was worth more then Ken Hamlin because his return yards way out do tackles. I'm on a 6 game win streak but after a 1-6 start might be too late. In my other league the LT owner is in with one week to go.

lt owner just missed the playoffs in my league, but no wild cards, jsut division winners........he is quite pissed

p.s. he was also the leagues high scorer

I have LT, and I'm the leading points scorer by about 120 points (around 920 to 800), and I'm 7-6 and need a win next week to make the playoffs. I have S. Smith, Ward, Colston, Bulger, Chester, and K. Jones. Unbelievable.

I've faced the high scorer seemingly every week.

920 points, and the top three teams (above me) have 800, 720, and 760. Ugh.

LT owner in my 16 team league won his division and has a bye in the first round of the playoffs. He finished top 3 in scoring (also has TGonz and Brees, plus he lost McNabb).

Fortunately, I can only face him in the Super Bowl week 17 - if SD locks up home field, he may sit.

I have a chance next week (we play a 14 week season) to knock out the LT owner as we play head to head and I already beat him in week 1.

In my other league, LT owner (happens to be the same #######g guy too) is the #2 seed going into the playoffs.

As the LT owner in 2 leagues, made it in both. Not the league high scorer in either. :(

I've only seen one team with LT not make it.

Yes, he made it, and the rest of his team suxor. He just knocked me out of the playoffs yesterday. (Barring a miracle from Steve Smith)

LT owner made it in my league as a 7-6 division winning team. Traded for Shaun Alexander a month ago so he goes into the playoffs with a backfield of LT and Alexander. He has Holt and Fitzgerald at WR (14 team keeper league mind you) but luckily for the league, his QB situation is a disastrous Favre, Grossman, Green and his defense is the Packers. I needed a win yesterday to clinch a WC at 8-5 and was able to survive his backfield thanks to Ladell Betts saving my ###!

LT2 owner in my keep-one league will finish with best record, tops in points and obvious favorite for championship. He drafts well anyway and starting with LT2 as his keeper put him so far ahead of everyone right off the bat that this is his championship to lose.

<jealous and frustrated, didn't get a top 3 draft pick - never got a chance at LT fantasy footballer>i am only allowed to vote once, but LT owner is making playoffs in 3 of my 3 leagues. it's completely sick and takes the fun out of it for everyone else when one man can take a team to the promised land almost entirely on his own.</jealous and frustrated, didn't get a top 3 draft pick - never got a chance at LT fantasy footballer> :ptts:
This is why they invented the auction draft....
:goodposting: LT owner in my 14 team auction league made the playoffs thanks to a combination of luck and LT, but is below average in total points. LT is responsible for over a third of this team's points this season. :o

just saw this stat on ESPN about LT. At the being of the year he was ranked 42nd in the NFL for total TDs. After this past week he is ranked 13th

LT made the playoofs in 6 of 7 leagues, although not always the first overall pick.

3 first seed, first in points.

1 5th seed 2nd in points.

1 4th seed 2nd in points.

1 3rd seed 1st in points.

1 4-8, out of playoffs, 8th in points.

In my 10 team league the LT owner is currently in 6th place with only the top 4 making the playoffs. However, if he beats the 5th place guy this week and the 4th place guy loses and at the same time the LT owner outscores the 4th place guy by 46 points, the LT owner can get in because he will then be tied for 4th but will have more points.

Right now, the LT owner is done this week and has scored 180 points kicking the crap out of the 5th place guy and the current 4th place guy is in a virtual tie going into tonight and must either hold off Steven Jackson and Thomas Jones with Torry Holt and Jeff Wilkins or hope Torry Holt and Jeff Wilkins score at least 45 combined points.

I am the top seed no matter what and would have to face the LT owner in the first round of the playoffs if he pulls this thing out. :help:

"The Kid" in our league backed LT up with Brees, TBell, Winslow, Gould and the Bears D. He's scored 25% more points than anybody else, is 12-1 (9 in a row) and has only had 3 close games all year. Given up fewer points than anyone else too :jealous:

LT: Starting Auction Leagues Everywhere

If you can't make the playoffs with LT on your team you're ####### pathetic and should be shot.
In a snake draft, if you picked LT #1 and bombed with the next two picks, you were sunk.
:goodposting: My Chambers/R. Moss picks didn't work out too well. Still 2nd in pts and in the playoffs, though.
but a good FF player will follow the WW and find a servicable WR or 2
After LT I took Fitz/Chambers. I thank the FF gods for allowing me to snag Colston in week 1. I had a 1st round bye but play the P Manning/Jones-Drew/Gore/Owens owner next week :nervous:
