Pathetic job by Denver's D. Adams shouldn't be that open ever. Literally 2 guys on the Raiders offense, Hackett and co. making it easy for them.
Meh, totally blown coverage on one play, Surtain left Adams to the safety and the safety didn’t pick him up.

They held the #14 offense to 16 points in regulation. The Denver offense scored 16 points against the #28 defense in the league. Switching to Kubiak calling plays didn’t seem to improve things at all. Hackett indeed sucks and should have been fired weeks ago.

The offense stinks, no doubt about it, but it is notable that in the home games against Indy and Vegas, two teams under .500, all the defense needed to do was make a stop to secure the win in the last two minutes, and in both cases, they let the other team go down for the score, and then allowed the winning score in OT. A lot of blame to go around in Denver.

Once again Meh. With the rule changes that constantly favor the offense for the past two decades, it’s laughable to blame defenses these days for not getting one more stop in the final minutes of a game when your offense can barely eek out 2 field goals in an entire half against a bottom 5 defense in the league. Or your offense can’t get a single 1st down on their final drive to ice the game in regulation or at the very least the QB fall down on 3rd down to burn 40 seconds off the clock.

The freaking Houston Texans scored more points against the Raiders this year, that’s embarrassing.

Sure, but in that situation, there shouldn't be passing off involved. Adams should be doubled in man coverage. If Foster Moreau or Keelan Cole beat you, then so be it. Honestly, been seeing that way too much from defenses this year, where they are playing assignments independent of who the other team has in important situations. Its bad (ignorant really) coaching, and its been a league wide problem, but was basically the entire difference in this game.
