So out of M. Lynch, B. Jacobs, or R. Grant who do you see having the most impact for the rest of the season?

Jacobs is #####ing about his role in the NYG offense but has not really shown anything when given the ball

R. Grant much like Jacobs has yet to do anything with his opportunities. Do you see this changing?

Lynch has only played in a couple of games but made a leap in production from one game to the next.

Is it Lynch?

I dont think its Lynch...horrible offense, horrible OL, and an equally talented RB to share carries with.

Jacobs is going to continue to get carries for a great team...Bradshaw is going to take some of his work, but theres little reason to think he won't have the opportunities to get his 70 yards and a score a game from here on out.

Grant is in the best situation of the 3. Good team, no competition for carries. Hes probably the least talented of the 3, but he'd have to get hurt not to hit 1100/9 or so by years end. I'd take him before the other 2.

Grant, Lynch, Jacobs

Grant is the only one not in a real time share. He's averaging the league average (little over 4 ypc) as opposed to last year at this time when he was below 4 ypc. Grant typically gets stronger as the season goes on, averaging much higher per carry in the colder months.

Lynch is still young and can be explosive but will share time with a dynamic back (fred jackson). Also, hes on a really really bad team. Jacobs seems to have lost a step.

Its ok to be a 265 lb running when you can run a 4.5. But holes close quick in the NFL and he seems to be running eerily similar to every other 265 lb running back that has played at the pro level.... ie, very mediocre. I think he has lost a step. His bad start has ocurred against pretty bad teams. Meanwhile, his explosive tandem partner is lighting it up with a league leading YPC average.

Look for GB to pick it up as their patchwork offensive line gets healthy (2 new linemen stating within the next week or two). Also, the organization is not complacent. They are changing things up to accommodate their o-line weaknesses. Coach talking about shortening the pass game to beat the rush, and things like that. Some teams don't even seem to try.

Grant, Jacobs, Lynch.

I can't rate Lynch over Jacobs when I consider a top-5 O-line vs a bottom-10 O-line. They both have another RB getting significant work, but which team is gonna be in more running situations through the course of the season, Giants or Bills? They're all good RB2s though.

Ironically, I have all 3 of these players involved in trade talks in several leagues.

Grant - Best opportunity. doesn't share (as mentioned before). And I think is a bit underrated as he's been catching the ball well this year. he might not have the "moves" that Lynch has, but he'll be very productive going forward in 2009.

Lynch - Personally, I'm not too worried about FJax taking his carries. If Lynch gets 18-20 touches/game, he'll be fantasy worth and a weekly starter in all formats. Will he have as many "good" games as Grant? That's the question. Not likely because his team simply sucks.

Jacobs - Will likely continue to lose carries, however, I still think he's fantasy worth and am targeting him everywhere. The TD production will come. Will the yardage? Another key question. I think he'll have ups and downs RE: yardage, but he should score enough to help most fantasy teams in need of a bargain RB that won't cost a top tier QB or WR in trade.
