The wait felt forever, but its finally here. You're the reason I come back to the SharkPool. Lets get in on!!! Love the player insight, score prediction, and all of that.

Yep, I always enjoy reading your RB and WR posts.

PS. make sure D williams, AP, Nicks, Jennings, and Lynch are all green the first week:)

Thanks for the kind words. I would not expect to see it before tomorrow. I want to look at the injury report and also the OLines/DLines, see who is in, who is out. My early advice is stick with what you know over what you don't know. Obviously there are some good RBs with tough match ups but I still would want my best players out there week 1. We don't really know what to expect form these guys with such a short off season. People have been pretty critical in the SP this week on folks that actually get paid to do this so I'm a little gun-shy what is going to happen to me.

If you all have specific questions on players, feel free to post them up in here and I will try and incorporate that into the thread this week. Concentrate on any of your last drafts this week and don't worry so much about week 1. It's gonna be a rough ride so strap in and try to relax.

Cheers

Strange year for me. My work league (which I won last year) disbanded due to lack of interest. So, it's just the fun league this year. Had to autodraft so I didn't even bother with preseason (no time). But, I came back to footballguys for the regular season for two reasons. One, the weekly rankings and articles, and two, MOP's running back rankings.

Waiting patiently....................... :D

I couldn't find a burned-at-the-stake emoticon. Lucky you.I agree with your notion of going with what you know. We really won't know for a few weeks which teams are this year's bad run defenses, which teams have somehow regressed on the offensive line, how much BC will be in a given RBBC, etc. If you drafted a guy as your RB1 or RB2 and he's playing, get him in there, grab a spot on the couch, and spend the first weekend of football enjoying the games!

Eh you can't ever worry about the critics. No fantasy football writer is ever going to be able to predict the future. But there are always some who appreciate the work. Looking forward to it as always. I've always wanted to tackle your RB thread in a similar format with WR's, but just haven't found the time due to work.
