This may sound ridiculous, but I was watching Good Morning Football yesterday, and they said that Terrell Owens wants to be on the cover of Madden 19.  Unless he wants to reverse the Madden curse, the chances of T.O. appearing on the cover of Madden are slim and none.  I'm trying to figure out of all the guys who have appeared on the cover of Madden, how many of them didn't have a bad season the year they were on the cover?  

We all know about the Madden curse.  It's legit.  Should the rules be changed to include guys who are in the Hall of Fame to appear on the cover just to reverse the curse?

There isn't a Madden curse. Players on the cover generally appear after an amazing season. It's hard to have two amazing seasons in a row. Regression should be expected and isn't the result of a curse.

The curse for being the cover athlete is getting all of the recognition but no additional money.
