Magazines are IN HAND (1 Viewer)

I want my money back, or at least a portion. The magazine is available here in Ottawa, Canada in-store and at cost of $6.99. WTF ? Why did I pay pre-order it for $12.99 ?
And it costs us $9.95 to mail it via Priority mail to Canada. We charge more than the cover price (for both US and international orders) because of the cost of priority postage and the fact we package it with things you won't get at the news stand. We are fine with people buying at the news stand. But with a limited distribution of just 100,000 magazines some people don't have that option.
Has anyone seen this magazine in-stores anywhere ?As per the order page:

1. You can wait and get one of the 100,000 distributed copies at various outlets (July 4th target date). Cost is $6.99 + tax.

Magazine will ship 10 to 14 days early by Priority Mail

Just saying... :goodposting:

as an FFT loyalist it pains me to say Footballguys magazines is one of the few I actually look forward to buying every year! solid job..

Yes the Publisher did a hack job on our file. That page is available in post 81 of this thread.

Got mine yesterday in SC.... BUT, no golden ticket :o

You would think they'd want the Dirty Dozen winner in the league... but oh well!

Got mine earlier today...nice read..funny FBG adds lol...no tickets..bummer. Dave thanks for getting it out so quickly but too bad there is no way to get the $3 off for the FBG.com subscription i paid for three weeks ago? That needs to be fixed so in the future if we prepay for the Mag we can get the discount even if we pay for the year ahead of time.
I got mine on Saturday. No ticket...I thought being a Cheetsheets.com memeber at one time would give me an extra shot, but no... :goodposting: I was wondering the same thing. I get in early on my membership and the mag and then I can't use the coupon. It would certainly be nice if I could use it...Thanks for an excellent job as usual!! The mag looks great!!!
We purposely issue the coupon AFTER the earlybird discount. We don't offer any discount greater than the $20.95 earlybird. If you bought for $26.95 and then bought the magazine, we can paypal you back $3. Just send us an email and we can verify both orders and issue a $3 rebate.
Thanks David, but I was an early bird. I guess I am just getting greedy in my old age. Makes sense...

Still waiting for mine  (in Canada near Windsor) hopefully it shows up this week with a golden ticket to make up for the wait

Got my mag on Monday ....No golden ticket....but I did get an autographed 8x10 of Cecil Lammey in a speedo!!

Who's the big winner? I AM!!!

Got mine yesterday. Winston-Salem, NC. Looks awesome guys. Kinda feels like Christmas morning.

:wolf:Weren't these supposed to be shipped Priority? At what point should I get worried?
 Surely we'll get ours today.
I still have yet to get mine. I sent money order on May 29th to:Footballguys.comP.O. Box 40Mablevale AR 72103Do I just need to be patient or am I not qualified for the early orders?
I just got back from the post office-still no mag. If all preorders was shipped by last Thursday, I should have gotten mine by today. Was there a problem by sending a money-order?

Email me your full name and address and I can check to see if it was mailed.

My dad and I just got back from picking up the FBG magazines. They look sharp and Adrian Peterson looks ready to explode off the front cover. My mom and dad are now adding in the coupon sheet, stickers, Golden/Silver tickets, etc to the roughly 2,300 of you that pre-ordered the magazine. We will have all domestic orders to our Post Office by Thursday morning. All international orders will be shipped by Friday.
there's something <very strange> about a grown man saying his mom and dad helped him stuff fantasy football mags...it gives me chills just reading it...

Actually they love doing these. The pay is great, they get to work from home, and it's a job that is over and done pretty fast. It also gives my retired parents some extra spending money.

I still haven't got my pre-ordered copy of the magazine yet (Southern NH), what gives?

I could just run down to Barnes and Noble at this point :banned:

I was wondering what the rest of you thought about the perfect draft article??
I think it is the exact same article as last years article. The only difference is wherever the name Jon Kitna appeared in the 2007 article, the name David Garrard was inserted for the 2008 article. The article was a dissappointment to me. Maybe it's just me, maybe I've outgrown fantasy football magazines.

The copy I received had the missing projections....#101-119 and 151-170 if my memory serves correct.

There's something afoot about "Free August Camp Updates" as a bone in exchange for the missing information.

Aren't all August Updates Free anyway? ;) And, how about a thread or a post that recaps the lost information?

How do I go about regestering for these "Free August Updates" :bag:

The full copy (minus the publisher errors which deleted 101-120 and 161-180) can be found in Post 81 and on the front page of the website. The first of Bob Henry's Training Camp Updates can be accessed at the URL that is listed on the bottom of every left hand page of the magazine. The URL is also listed in Joe's Opening and Closing remarks. The updates are available to full subscribers without a separate fee. If you have the mag (and the URL) or a full subscription, there shouldn't be a registration process to see the updates. At one point, we had been offering a separate subscription for the camp updates only, but I don't believe that's available any longer (David would have to speak to that).

Not sure where you might have gotten the impression that the camp updates are a bone to get missing information.

A mis-statement. Because I didn't get the info, I was entitled to .....is a better statement. The idea for the August Updates was part of a Daily Update from DoddsAt any rate, thanks for the info.

Borders Glendale(In between Hollywood and Pasadena) CA.

Noticed the end cap of Magazine stands had most of the fantasy mags about 6 to 7. No football guys mag. Sad face.

Then i found them mixed into the main section. Took the other 3 footballguys mags and placed them on the end cap top row spread apart . hahahahaha

Bought mine last week at Barnes and Noble (Birmingham, AL). It was on the end cap with all the other Fantasy Football mags.

Great publication.

I gave my 7 year old son the Black Eyed Joe tattoos. He asked if he could have them. Now he wants a real one.
