Making A Murderer (Netflix) (Spoilers) (1 Viewer)

The Wisconsin AG, Brad Schimel was in a rock n roll band with sweaty prosecutor, Ken Kratz.  They called themselves The Alibi.

Drain the swamp

I'm still unsure about Steven but Brendan sure seems like he got a raw deal - it would really suck for him if they are playing games just because they don't want Steven to either get out or get a new trial.

Vacate the conviction.  Should have a bunch of results of the testing she's been doing of evidence the last 6 months or so.  Stuff like looking at blood stains for qtip fibers, I think, to prove the planting of blood.
  She's been quiet on Twitter regarding this case. Can't wait to see what they've got.

from the reddits:

"Just called WBAY newsroom and they have someone at the courthouse waiting for them to finish counting the pages so they can get a copy. They would be posting it when they get it.

Watch this space: http://www.wbay.com/news

If they don't post it later today or tomorrow, I'll check back or see about getting a copy myself. Just don't want to have to shell out any money to Manitowoc if someone else is going to post it. Hang tight."

I might break my F5 button today.

Ok, so apparently the scan is off for now and they have to outsource the job.  Something about the color photos not being scanned correctly.  Apparently some members of the media already have it, so we might get some news today, but looking like tomorrow.  Ugh!

No matter what happens there is one thing above all else that should happen and that is Brendan Dassey being released.

Even if it's proven Avery did it and coerced Brendan to help the guy is still pretty seriously developmentally disabled and should be in some sort of mental treatment residence and not regular jail.

So some reporter is reading the motion out loud at the courthouse and no "bombshells" at all.  Most of the complaints are procedural (Brady violations, Prosecution withholding evidence, ineffective defense counsel).

BUT, the one thing that came back through scientific testing so far was that the bullet they found did not go through her head.  IDK how that was determined, something about brain fingerprinting (?)

There could be more, but this is what the fam is reporting on their official FB page.   Should be enough to get him free, but not the kind of revealing of filth we're all hoping for.

ETA:  looks like the whole doc is 1272 pages.... so hopefully more damning info from scientific testing coming out soon.

1272 pages?

Its like Tim wrote a novella.

There may be addendum, attachments, and other various attached documents that don't make up the text of the actual brief.  I say this because generally there is a word count limit on motions.

I think I'm done updating for today.   Zellner said she would post it on her site tonight or tomorrow.

I'll be shooting straight to the "New Evidence" portion hoping there's more than just stuff about the bullet fragment.

I don't know. I was referring to posters here cutting and pasting from Tim's novel as arguments to Tim's posts. He didn't realize it and was arguing back... so he was essentially arguing with himself.
Ah I think I heard about this. So essentially he was "outed"?

i guess exposed would be a better word
