Washington Redskins CB Shawn Springs returned to practice today after sitting out the opener because of a bruised shin. Meanwhile, HC Jim Zorn expressed excitement about the return of WR Malcolm Kelly, who practiced today. "Good!" Zorn said. "I've got great news today. All this rest, and just the specific work he's been doing in the training room, all the rehab, has really been helping him, bringing him along." LB Khary Campbell sat out practice because of a leg injury. "He's going to be fine, but it was hindering his mobility," Zorn said. "It wasn't necessary to get him out today. Hopefully, we'll get him out on Wednesday" when practice resumes."

Probably Kelly. At least he hasn't proven he sucks on the field yet.

Also, Campbell may look more to a tall guy when he's confused.

I'm not sure where Thomas proved that he sucked in one game (at least not any more than the rest of the offense), but at any rate I'd take Kelly too. He's the only tall WR and early on at least he was ahead of Thomas during training camp and impressing people with how polished he looked. This could certainly change as the season wears on, and it bears mention that both guys are behind even where most rookies are because they were both injured for much of training camp.

As much as I want to see him play well at a higher level I have this wierd feeling that Kelly is going to break my heart just like he broke my heart last year in the Fiesta Bowl. He has all the physical ability to be a stud but something always seems to be off with this guy. When things are clicking with him lookout...

Personally I don't think I could ever chance him in my starting fantasy lineup. He'd really have to prove himself for several weeks in a row before I'd lean on him. I guess it really would depend on your team and how desperate you are.

I would love to see an OU WR do well in the NFL though. I guess Clayton still has time to prove himself but we see how Bradley, Jones, and Wilson are working out...
