Raider Nation
Devil's Advocate
Interesting discussion about this on Boston sports talk radio yesterday.
On one hand, he is one of the greatest hitters ever and they almost certainly don't win either title without him.
On the other hand, nobody will ever forget how he forced his way out of town.
- Looking at 3 straight strikes right down the middle at Yankee Stadium with the bat on his shoulder.
- Phantom knee injurues (by all accounts).
- Fighting a team employee.
- Jogging out ground balls and running half-speed while in the outfield.
- Being an all-around horrible teammate.
I talked to a couple GBs of mine who are huge Sox fans, and they have no idea what to expect.
