I have 2 leagues that have deeper benches - one is a 40 man dynasty roster, 25 man starting lineup, and daily lineups, the other is a 30 man keeper roster with a 20 man starting lineup and daily lineups. He's stashed in those as a wait and see. My others are much more shallow (weekly lineups, 5 bench spots in all 3 of them), never considered him in those.
If it doesn't work out I'll use his roster spot to speculate on closers, stream pitchers, or cover injuries on offense with platoon bats. If it does then I can probably sell 2 current starters for a better one.
