Marion Barber (1 Viewer)

The Dallas running game has issues right now. I'm not really happy with it.

As long as they keep winning, you won't hear alot about it, but they just aren't producing.

He's a backup running back, and producing like one.
I have to agree. Barber is not a good RB..maybe for a straight ahead yard or two. I am suffering with him as well!
Da Guru, I can understand if you're frustrated with his production as of late, but to say he's only good for a straight ahead yard or two and he is not a very good RB....well, thats just plain silly...He's averaging 63.2 yards a game, and has 6 TD's. He's 9th in terms of fantasy points for RB's.

I have watched Barber, Jones could have punched in those 1 yard TDs

The thing is, Dallas hasn't had to rely on the running game lately, because their passing game is so dang good.

Holy misconception, Batman! It's off to the polls!

Didn't see the game, but when every pass you complete is a long TD, there's really no need for a running game.
TO = long touchdowns= no touchdowns for Barber. He's a very good running back that is in a committee .. that won't be broken unless Dallas is losing. He and Jones stay healthy this way.. much to my dismay as a Barber owner. Sigh.

That really is just plain silly. A guy that is good for a straight ahead yard or two doesn't average 5.1 ypc.

The run blocking for Dallas has regressed during the season. In fact, they've regressed quite a bit in pass-blocking too, and while it hasn't affected Romo's numbers thanks to his mobility, it has definitely hurt Marion quite a bit. He is great at breaking tackles but he can only do so much on a per-play basis.

I disagree. Sure, he may not be the most talented back in the league (which is why he hasn't won the full-time gig) but he runs with more heart and passion than most of the backs in the league. And he's averaging well over 4.0 ypc (didn't bother to look up the exact #) I LOVE watching Barber run.
