Ross Tucker Podcast
“One guy that really stood out to me was Elijah Arroyo from Miami… This guy is a higher level receiving tight end.”
@GregCosell with a surprise name when @RossTuckerNFL asked him which TE prospect jumped out to him:
Jacob Gibbs
Former Miami TE Elijah Arroyo had the fastest ball-carrier time (21.8 mph) of any TE in 2024 - NCAA or NFL.
Probably don't need to worry about his lack of athletic testing #NFLDraft2025
Elijah Arroyo can create legit separation.
He disappears at times, but there are flashes of big receiving upside for sure!
Elijah Arroyo clean out-breaking with a hands catch away from defender
Elijah Arroyo is not just long and athletic, there's strength and physicality to his game.
It shows up in blocking reps. Also in movement through contact as a route-runner.
Multiple injuries delayed Elijah Arroyo's time to shine, but his 2024 film is very intriguing!
Miami used him all over -- backfield, slot, motion man
He's a fluid mover and could be a steal in the NFL Draft. Inexperienced with lots to learn, but the tools are all there!
Doug Farrar
Miami TE Elijah Arroyo has a compelling second- and third-level acceleration that is magnified when he's using burst motion. I would think that any NFL team using a lot of that would find him quite interesting.

Multiple teams had Elijah Arroyo as a top 20-25 overall talent in the draft save durability concerns. Seattle gets him at No. 50 overall.
Emmanwori and Arroyo stand out
Seattle’s two second-round picks – South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori and Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo – both have a unique combination of size and athleticism. And that certainly was evident on the practice field.
The 6-foot-5, 254-pound Arroyo seemingly glides across the field, moving with impressive fluidity for his size. He also showed off his massive catch radius, hauling in a seam pass from Milroe with a leaping grab that capped Friday’s practice in style.
@32BeatWriters
Macdonald on Arroyo: "This guy can run an extensive route tree. To have to account for a tight end body on the field and him also to be able to split out wide, do X receiver type of things, bigger body than we probably have right now on our roster, just provides a ton of value."
Hard to judge levels of raw though I agree with you he seems very in that regard but I would throw out that I've seen a few people comp him to Pitts coming into the league.I’m trying to think of a rookie TE who was a little raw but an explosive athlete who found his way into an immediate role in the passing game.
oh snap that is big news. I was betting he wouldn't be a factor but figured he'd play.Big news. Fant was released.
Kittle was never that in college.Will never be an elite 700-1000 yd receiving guy..If that isn't what you are looking for, then I guess Arroyo is for you....if you are looking for elite among the elite, you gotta target tight ends that were #1 targets for their college team. --you are probably looking at Hayden Hurst/Noah Fant at the most
If that logic runs true, move over Tony Gonzalez and Rob Gronkowski, here comes Herald Fanin.Will never be an elite 700-1000 yd receiving guy..If that isn't what you are looking for, then I guess Arroyo is for you....if you are looking for elite among the elite, you gotta target tight ends that were #1 targets for their college team. --you are probably looking at Hayden Hurst/Noah Fant at the most
Neither were fellow former Miami Hurricanes Jimmy Graham or Greg Olsen.Kittle was never that in college.Will never be an elite 700-1000 yd receiving guy..If that isn't what you are looking for, then I guess Arroyo is for you....if you are looking for elite among the elite, you gotta target tight ends that were #1 targets for their college team. --you are probably looking at Hayden Hurst/Noah Fant at the most
@SeahawksForever
Elijah Arroyo had a great day. Caught everything thrown his way including a couple diving grabs. Really looks the part.
Hey, it was the key indicator that Jace Amaro was good. It's foolproof!If that logic runs true, move over Tony Gonzalez and Rob Gronkowski, here comes Herald Fanin.Will never be an elite 700-1000 yd receiving guy..If that isn't what you are looking for, then I guess Arroyo is for you....if you are looking for elite among the elite, you gotta target tight ends that were #1 targets for their college team. --you are probably looking at Hayden Hurst/Noah Fant at the most

After early drops in spring OTAs and minicamps, rookie tight end and second-round pick Elijah Arroyo is catching everything from everybody so far in #Seahawks training camp.
New OC Klint Kubiak is moving him all around formations.
@thenewstribune
His PFF blocking grade against college opponents last year was in the top third. Though at the bottom of that third. So there’s reason to hope.If he blocks well day one in pads, ya gotta draft him or trade for him if your league is at that point. It's the only question with him at this point

Jalen Milroe to tight end Elijah Arroyo in a rookie connection in the fifth practice of #Seahawks training camp.
Arroyo continues to catch everything from everyone in this camp.

Becoming very intrigued with TE Elijah Arroyo in SEA. His skill set, with what they want to do on offense, and with the opportunity created by their off-season moves…
This paragraph by @gbellseattle:
Same here. Kupp has just 2/8 seasons with 1k yards and just 5/8 seasons with double digit starts.I think he's a very good TE2 flier right now. I'd have him as a top-20 TE. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm pretty wary of Cooper Kupp, and it wouldn't blow my mind if Arroyo had 60+ catches as a rookie.
That’s exciting. You will be amply rewarded if it hits.Milroe/Arroyo stacks 26-30
