No they cant, look at what happened to Lesean Mccoy, Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, Darren Mcfadden, Rashard Mendenhall after they had bad rookie seasons, they all went on to be busts.

But the thing is all of those guys either failed in their attempt or had a good RB in front of them. Possible that Ingram fails but he really has nobody in his way.

The RBBC mix in NO has been a backfield that can even make Julius Jones look good. That O-line and Brees making the defense respect the pass, can turn average joes into 5.0ypc carriers. Now enter Ingram. This dude is a stud. He will turn 5 yard carries into 7 and 8 yard carries. No one on that roster is scaring me if I'm an Ingram owner.

Ingram is a clone of a stereotypical RB. He has way more tools than the other RB's on the Saints. Question is if Sean Payton had Emmitt Smith would Smith be a hall of fame RB?

Emmit Smith is a great example. He is often compared to Ingram and was drafted higher than Ingram.Now, what did Emmit's rookie numbers look like?
