Mark Ingram (3 Viewers)

I think some people really underestimate how hard it is to have the workload he had on Sunday and then follow it up with what'll end up 25+ touches again with 3 days of rest.

The guy's showing a ton of heart and looking really good while doing it, especially when factoring in how beat up and gassed he probably is.

People honestly benched this guy?
Unfortunately for them, yes.

Agreed.

It would take some serious alternatives to consider sitting him right now
Murray and Bradshaw?
I'd start Ingram over Bradshaw (fortunately the only league where I have good enough RB's to make it a decision I can start 3 with the flex so it's Hillman, Bradshaw, Ingram starting with Morris/Martin on the bench.

Can only start 2 RB's? It's frustrating when you have 3 legit RB's and can only start 2.
I also have Lacey. I've been trying to trade to upgrade at WR, but the latest two offers were Bradshaw for LaFell and Ingram for Hopkins. I'd rather get a top tier guy...

I'm going to stick with Bradshaw. He's been so consistent all year and has a great match up as well...
Man, we tried to tell you John

Maybe Bradshaw will match or exceed, totally possible

He has averaged 3.1 yards per carry tonight against a terrible Run D. This year he's averaged 5+ in the other games he's played. The two TD's are great but it doesn't seem all that controversial to make the statement that he doesn't look great tonight. I'm sure it's the short rest. Geeez

Are you saying he doesn't look that great, or are you looking at the YPC stat and using that to argue that he must not look great because of his low average?

When I asked if you were watching the game, you declined to answer

And, as was pointed out in this thread, 3 days rest for that workload and then this workload, and a road game at that, is no easy task

he's looked fine if you are watching the game and not the ypc sheet. been hit in the backfield plenty and still had had a good game.

17 - 88 - 2

2 - 10 - 0
I'm quoting this before Ingram gets the ball again.

3:30 to go in the game and my rushing yards, rushing TD's, and receiving yards are spot on.

Annnnd he just ran for another handful of yards. 92 yards now and counting

Had an interruption due to injury, but hello this years' Moreno. There's a reason why everyone that's watched the guy run this preseason/season has said he's an elite talent. All that was missing was volume. I dont expect this heavy volume when Thomas/Robinson return, but he probably won't need it because....

Been harping on it every single Saints thread, final 5 of 7 are home games. The 2 road games at Pitt & Chicago.

He's coming off. He earned it. They can close it out from here, he got his 100 yards.

Seriously, the guy has 54 rushing attempts in 5 days!

Pissed...doesn't want to come out.

This guys a beast. Very proud of him....glad I held all these years. Knew he had this in him.

meh. division road games are usually pretty tough despite what the 'rankings' say.

Man coulda had 3 TDs. Lots of carries, too -- low YPC. I'm a bit disappointed at the points left on the table. C'mon man.
:coffee: Boring shtick
No look at the thread earlier...I said 30-35 carries, 4 TD. He had a chance for 3 TD and did do 30 carries. His YPC was low, only 3.3. He had been averaging I think 5.7, which would've netted 171 yards, which would've been a knockout punch to any FF opponent. This was a good night but could've been a lot more.
