They've been behind and Carolina's run defense is no joke.

He's on pace for 18 points in PPR.  I will happily take it from this matchup.  Hell, I was forced to start him and was dreading another SEA outing, so the 9 points he already has is more than I hoped for.

Agreed.  Nobody was planning on him getting points from carries in this game....

It was tied 1/2 way through the 2nd qtr. Luckily it was "his turn" for the last drive of the half where he got 2 dump offs for ~1/2 of his total fantasy production (he wasn't the 1st option on either), but if you were only hoping for less than 9 pts. in a PPR, I guess we have different expectations.

So, for the other 22 minutes of the first half they were behind?  Think that's what I said.

If you were expecting 15+ points from a guy who is in a full-blown RBBC, in this matchup, then yes, I guess we do have different expectations.

 
Feeling good about my decision to sit him for Tyreek this week. But, I liked what I've seen before he got knocked out. And, Timmy is being exposed again as a JAG.

If Ingram is good to go next week, he's probably not coming back out of my starting line-up the rest of the season.

Sure, being behind 3 points after 1 possession (where your QB fumbled) is totally reason to play catch-up and abandon the run- is that you Sean?

Didn't say I was expecting 15+ pts, but it was certainly more than "less than 9", and the point is that he shouldn't be in a full-blown RBBC.

Did you mean to say "going back into" instead of "coming back out of"?  I'm assuming you liked what you saw in week 9, where Ingram went nuts and Hightower was JAG (yet again), but then Payton rewarded him with a whopping 11 carries the following week.

You connect the dots and then throw the injury risk on top of it, he's basically a desperation play from now on IMO.

Payton burns a timeout down 10 with 8 minutes left, to save 25 seconds.  Then on 1st down after the punt he runs a Hightower running play.

Seriously owning anybody on this team not name Brees is just a nightmare.  Everybody else...enjoy your light switches.

So funny and so sad at the same time. Ingram won't sniff his true potential again for the FF season. Watch -- he'll be out next week on concussion protocol (Peyton will find a way to stretch that out) then never be trusted to run the rock twice in a row. What a disaster of a season for Ingram and his owners.

I kinda hope so because Hightower goes BOOM. 

 
This sucks. Guy loves Payton and NO so much that he took less money to sign an extension with them last year, and this is the thanks he gets?

Feel like I'm basically stuck with the guy as he's my single best-value keeper (last round in a non-PPR) ... but at this point I'm hoping Payton just declares Hightower the starter ROS, or does something else to piss Ingram off enough to demand a trade.

His usage this season makes Lamar Miller's in Miami last year look like the product of an offensive mastermind.

 
Ingram doesn't fit the offense. He's more of an old school RB. Traded him last year for Brandon Marshall and felt good about it. I have since moved on from Marshall too. It would be best if Ingram went somewhere like Seattle.

He fits the offense just fine, the coach simply refuses to use him like a true workhorse for some reason. It's really as simple as that.  :shrug:

His average weekly production, including the game he scored in the negative and was benched after 3 touches, is 14.63

That's 4 above average games, with 3 of those "stud" performances of 20-30 points, with 4 average performances and 1 stinker. Fact:  he's the 13th highest scoring RB in PPR right now. Including a BYE and a stinker.  Crowell has scored just 3 more points having played 1 more game. So arguably Ingram is top 12, making him a borderline RB1 in PPR formats.

You have a strange definition of a stud.  Since he has played all 10 games but still only on the verge of being a top 12 RB, he is exactly what I would call a compiler.  He's only been above average in 4 out of 10 games.  Most of the guys ranked immediately behind him have missed games or been on the bench.  So when they have played, they have been better than Ingram too.... Ayaji, S.Ware, T.Riddick, C.Michael, J.Howard, etc.  He's been a decent RB2 because he's out there playing every week but I can't see how anyone would claim that he's is a stud.

Silly me - a RB capable of 30 point games if only his coach will give him the ball couldn't possibly be a "stud".  Compilers don't rip off 75 yard TDs. 

Your definition of "compiler" is ridiculous if you believe that's what Ingram is.
