Mark Ingram (3 Viewers)

I'd take whatever you can get. His value is fairly worthless and probably only has worth to a Kamara owner as a handcuff.
Agreed. I have Kamara, but if he goes down I'd much rather start a RB on another team. Shoot, Kamara only gets regular runs of 2 yards behind that line. Old Mark likely won't do much more AND he isn't nearly the athlete or pass catcher out of the backfield. I'm hoping this move actually gets Kamara in space and saves his running into walls at the line of scrimmage.

Saints signed Mark Ingram to a one-year, $2.8 million contract extension.

He reportedly signed the extension before he was dealt to New Orleans, keeping him under contract through the 2022 season. The deal includes a $250,000 signing bonus from the Texans with cap hits of $657,000 (this season) and $1.5 million with the Saints through the end of his contract. Ingram will be available for early-down carries as early as Week 8 against the Bucs.

Mark Ingram rushed nine times for 43 yards in the Saints' Week 9 loss to the Falcons, adding five receptions for 21 additional yards.

With the Saints adjusting to life without Jameis Winston, Ingram predictably saw a bigger workload than he did in his short-notice Week 8 Saints debut. He actually out-caught Alvin Kamara 5-4, though Kamara out-gained him 54-21 through the air. On the whole, Kamara won the touch battle 17-14, with the handles being his fewest since Week 2. Ingram figures to take a chunk out of Kamara's overall volume, but Kamara's top-five RB1 status is safe thanks to his likely dominance of New Orleans' high-value touches. With the Saints having no choice but to go run-heavy, Ingram has some last-gasp Week 10 FLEX appeal for the Saints' matchup with the Titans.

Awful quiet in here.

Kamara ruled out.

Curious where we think Ingram ranks among RBs in PPR. He's getting a boatload of touches.

And Sieman is starting, not T. Hill.

He was dropped in my league on Wednesday, and I’m the Kamara owner with the last waiver spot. That’s why we are all being quiet.

Second round of waivers sometimes goes unnoticed in my league for whatever reason. I think people run waivers on Tuesday and then check out a bit till Sunday.

Here’s to hoping I wake up to a nice message from yahoo in the AM.

I picked him up for $1 Tuesday after the saints worked out 3 rbs and the rumors of AK being banged up were floated out there. I don't even own AK.

Starting him over Javonte

Saw the rumors as well and put in a bid for him and landed Ingram.

At the time, was just thinking a depth play especially if Kamara was out a couple weeks, but now he'll have to jump right into the lineup if Godwin is out.

My opponent who has Chubb got him before me, so here’s my projection.

18 Carries for 35 yards.

Enjoy 150+ yards and 3 TDs ya hosers.

There’s talk of Taysom Hill having more packages installed for him this week. Hopefully this isn’t going to be at the goal line but that seems like where they live to use him.

Close. 108 total yards vs 116. I sure wanted that second TD though, just couldn't punch it in.

Good game though. Solid play.

Is Ingram a hold going into next week's game in Philly? If Kamara is back probably not but I haven't seen much info on his injury.

Great outing by Ingram. Glad I picked him up this week.

depends. As a handcuff he’s as good as any like pollard / Dillon / Mattison / Hubbard / michel. A guy in front of him with injury has more risk or reinjury so unless you are streaming rbs and have a better matchup I don’t see why not.

I don't think Ingram holds a lot of value once Kamara is back next week.  I don't think he would be startable, but what the hell do I know?  Probably not enough.

Not much information about Kamara, which makes me a bit nervous. It's a bit like Tony Jones Jr who was going to miss "3 - 4 weeks" with an ankle injury. That was Oct 5th...

Startable, probably not unless you are hoping for a lucky td. But this is the time of year where people start stashing high value handcuffs for playoff runs. He’s worth a stash as he can put up good points in event of injury and it’s not a given that Kamara will be 100 percent next week.

Mark Ingram (knee) was absent for the portion of practice open to the media on Tuesday.

The Saints held a walkthrough on Tuesday, which doesn't accurately depict either Alvin Kamara's (knee) or Ingram's statuses ahead of Thursday. Wednesday's injury report will be telling. Managers should stash Tony Jones everywhere just in case both players ahead of him are ruled out.

Rappaport indicating "uphill climb" and swelling in his knee. Not good.

May pivot to R. Stevenson if news doesn't improve.

Hell...as a non Kamara owner, may actually drop him. You figure T. Jones is back in the mix, maybe even D. Wash, and Kamara back next week.

Mark Ingram (knee) was a full participant in practice on Monday.

Ingram missed Week 12 with the knee issue but the team took up until game-day to make the call on nixing him from the lineup. He was likely close to playing but the team had a short turnaround, facing the Bills on Thanksgiving. Alvin Kamara was limited in practice. Both players should be active for Week 13, making Kamara his usual RB1 self while Ingram will have some deep FLEX viability.

Mark Ingram (knee) was a full participant for Tuesday's practice.

Ingram, logging back-to-back full participation, is expected to play and have a higher ceiling than usual since the Saints could reportedly choose to limit Alvin Kamara (knee) in his first game back in three weeks' time. Ingram averaged 11 touches behind Kamara in the duo's first two contests together but is likely eyeing 15 touches as a low-end RB2 on Thursday.

Mark Ingram (knee) was not given an injury designation for Week 13 against the Cowboys.

It is not a surprise after he practiced in full all week. With Alvin Kamara (knee, questionable) likely to be limited even if he suits up against the Cowboys, Ingram should see more work than usual. He shapes up as a low-end RB2 for Week 13.

Is he a must start? Both tackles out and Hill tends to run instead of dumping it off to the RB.
I would think he's ~top 20.  If you've got 2-3 better options, sure.  I've got a dynasty team with Barkley/Montgomery/Mitchell and Ingram.  I won't play Ingram there.  But he's gotten solid volume in the games with Kamara out.  You can certainly do worse if you've lost Cook/CMC/Swift/etc.

Starting him as my RB2 with Carter out, Dalvin likely out, Harris in a bad matchup, and Foreman on a bye.

You're playing Montgomery over Ingram? I have the same choice. Id also consider him over Barkley

I really want to do it, but I don't think I can. Darrell Henderson and Javonte Williams are my other options (and Melvin Gordon).

If it was just Henderson and Ingram, I'd take the hedge against Henderson missing and go ahead and start Ingram.

But with Gordon banged up, I'd like to buy some time to see if the Javonte show gets center stage.

Same here except I also have Sony Michel. I think I'm gonna bench Ingram and hope Michel and/or Javonte get the start.

I've got Ingram in right now but am real shaky about it.
I’ve got Ingram tonight and CPat against the Bucs on Sunday for my playoff life.  I’m making arrangements.
