Not sure when Giambi's contract is up. Hopefully the Yankees have learned their lesson with overpaying for aging 1Bs with old player skills.

Tex is 27 and not on the juice, with that said he made a mistake turning down that money and as a Rangers fan I am thrilled that he did. Jon Daniels did a great job getting what he did for Lofton, Tex and Gagne (and I hate to say that).

All I'm saying is that guys of his build and skillset don't usually play up to $15MM/yr contracts as they approach 35, which is what we'd be talking about if he signs with someone two years for now for more than a few years.
