Martha’s Vineyard in late October (1 Viewer)

Can you spend a few extra days in New England? Good time to visit. You'll have the Halloween stuff in Salem, MA, and all the foliage in NH/VT. Plus the usual Massachusetts stuff.

We might. I’ve done a lot of that but my wife hasn’t. Still figuring it out. When did Boston hotels get so astronomically priced?

At least since I had to start traveling there for work about 12 years ago. It’s nuts. I think part of the problem is that they have fewer hotels than comparable cities, and can get away with nutty pricing due to scarcity.

Yeah, the hotel prices aren't fun. It's tough because when you're own vacation you want to be staying in the city, near all the stuff. The cheaper idea is to stay in a good area that has MBTA access, and take the red line or green line into the city. Makes for a longer day though.
