The every down LB thread has had this noted all season. For whatever reason there are a few subpackages where Foster comes out. Its not all nickel packages though. I think it depends on the down and distance.

Man the LB position has really stunk this year. Especially MLB. I just packaged Foster in a trade to bring in Keuchly. Those of us who started him are lucky he had that sack to improve the stat line.

well, I doubt he finishes with 16 sacks, 8 picks, and 8 td, but on the bright side, he did all his damage this past week on only half the snaps (34 snaps) --- that's not a bad game for a worst case scenario.
unfortunately, his next 4 games are NEP, ARI, PHI, and ATL, so we'll see how often he sees the field, I guess
