Master Class - Online Classes (1 Viewer)

Really wanna see the Franklin BBQ, Ivey, and Negreanu ones but not spending that kinda scratch

I think you get them all unlimited access for like 180 bucks a year.      Ask for it as a gift.

So you're saying it's worth it, huh?

What it makes it worth it? Is it the knowledge or the actual teaching styles of the men and women that are in the videos?

 
Actually, the people teaching the episodes of MasterClass sure are experts. There's not a name there I wouldn't not like to learn from. Holy smoke. I'm not sure $180 is worth it when I could offer twenty bucks more and potentially have a sealed copy of the Young Team box set by Mogwai, but I'll keep it in mind.

Could always split the cost with a couple of buddies that may be interested?     I just wanted the BBQ and Poker stuff, but there is so much more.

Yeah, I probably could get somebody to split it with me. They look like really, really interesting classes and did when they advertised them. It's one of those things that I hope other people purchase so that when it comes time for me to do so, they're still around.

eta* Interesting thread. I wonder if anybody else is indeed watching these.

I always wanted to try my hand at smoking bbq.  So for the cost of two meals at our local BBQ place, I can learn from someone who has people line up for hours every day to buy his BBQ.  The poker with Ivey and Negreanu was just a bonus.

That's exactly my thought...Franklin's been a very open book and gone out of his way to publish in his books and videos how he does everything in explicit detail.  What exactly is left to learn in Master Class?

"Oh, yeah, I forgot...I don't just use salt & pepper as a rub, I sneak in a little dried ancient extra aged umami beefy oyster flakes when no one is looking".

 
Has anyone signed up for this yet?  @rockaction?  

I’m very intrigued by some of the classes but would really love to hear some first hand experiences with it first.  Covid lockdown would actually give me the time to watch a few of these...

Find a lot of these on torrent sites I believe.    I watched the BBQ with Franklin and thought it was really good.

Thanks.  I’ve never been on a torrent site.  
The BBQ is one of the many I had interest in.  I know he’s done a fair amount of YouTube stuff but I was wondering if what he did there was different.

I subscribed.. Ive done Voss (Negotiating), and the Starbucks CEO.

Son loves Steph Curry lessons/drills.

Other son hates Serena Tennis.

Worth the 90 180 bucks or whatever.  I signed up and had a promo to gift a sub to someone (brother).
