He clearly should be. I have no idea whether Goodell will do it or not though. He's all over the board on these things. Wilfork has gotten off three or four times.

He's going to get a suspension, but if he's smart he'll try to appeal it and drag it out past the Pittsburgh game. He's too good of a tackle to be missing at this key juncture for the Patriots.

So Crowder also gets the boot too, then.
He's a punk, too. but the worst offender was that oafish #98 guy who pushed hochstein back into gostkowski long after the XP was through...stay classy, Miami!

What about Joey Porter, who after being assessed two consecutive personal foul penalties, was benched by Sparano, then inserted himself back into the game, defying coaches orders?

The best part was when Light had him by the braids and was pounding him. Goodell should use that as a training video during rookie training.

What the heck did Crowder do? He was getting repeatedly mugged well after the play was over, pushing the guy, then got grabbed by the dreads and beaten on the back of the head. Guys don't even get personal fouls for that little push all the time, and that's when they do it for far less than a 300lb lineman mugging them 4 seconds after the play was over.Crowder is indeed a punk at other times, but in this case he did nothing to even warrant getting ejected, much less suspended.

:shark: Perhaps if the Dolphins had adopted Belichick's high Wonderlic score requirements for their players, they would have realized the ill-advised nature of getting into a scrum with the Foxboro posse.

Perhaps the refs are under standing orders to eject a player from each side whenever fists are thrown. It looks like both Crowder and Light were pulling each others facemasks down to the ground although the camera angle is bad on the clips I've looked at.Either way, the only thing you can tell for sure in the clip is that Crowder got punched several times in the head before running away.

Pats homer here and I agree he should get a 1 game suspension.

Also agree that he should appeal it so he doesn't miss the Steelers' game.
