Just saw this scroll across the bottom of the screen: Jones-Drew expected to play Sunday @ TB

I'm not sure what they said about the injury, but apparently it is only minor, as they expect him to play Sunday......PHEW!

I'll be a little more optimistic when I see a headline like this on Sunday morning. Still, good to know that it's nothing major.

oh i definitely did . a little preparing for the worst so as to not be devastated if it happened never hurt anybody, did it? that said, i'd still like to see something a little more concrete.

I hate this, code for two things... 1. Possible scratch 2. Crappy fantasy day.

I'm going with other options if he isn't 100%

I wouldnt worry as much about MJD's knee as I would the horrific Quinn Gray. They will stack that box Sunday.

Nobody knows if he's really hurt or not yet. Everyone's reporting only of Del Rio's speculation after the game. Until they practice tomorrow or someone has a quote from Jones-Drew, it's still as up in the air as it was when he limped off the field. Granted, the fact we haven't heard anything really bad yet has me more hopeful than last night.

on jags board they say he said in a press conference that he had a minor MCL strain, and should play this week, and he was wearing a huge brace.

You couldn't see that much detail from the MNF camera angle, and they only replayed it from the one angle. Unless ESPN or NFLN had an angle that MNF didn't (which is possible), there's no way you can say that there wasn't any bending...

I took that to mean he may be limited IN PRACTICE this week, but expected to be fine for the game.
