Not a homer but on his radio show this morning Holmgren said he didn't think the injuries to Morris and Burleson were "long" injuries, meaning he doesn't think they'll be out for long. He said he'd know more this afternoon but based on that comment I'm guessing neither one will play against the Niners.

Yikes, it's week 2 and the Hawks look like they're going to be signing practice squad wr's into the lineup already.
They already had "practice squad" WRs in the game on Sunday. Courtney Taylor made his 1st start and did horrible. Jordan Kent and Logan Payne looked pretty bad in their own right.Branch should be back soon (he was almost ready to go vs Buffalo) and Engram will be back in a few weeks. But still they are hurting. If there was anytime to trade for a WR like Roy Williams, it would be now.

I'm not so sure about that. The AP story really seemed to jump the gun on Branch. Branch's own comments seemed to indicate he's still a few and maybe several weeks from returning. I wouldn't be surprised if Engram returned first. It's not like Branch is a fast healer.

I seem to recall that he got most of the carries before the injury? Am I wrong?Does Morris have any value in 12 team leagues this season?

Morris had 4 carries for 1 yard.Jones had 4 carries for 1 yard.This was halftime and , I was laughing at the trainwreck.I assume some OLine adjustments were made... to start the 3rd quarter...Morris then ripped off a 17 yard run.Morris followed that up with a 13 yard run in which he got his knee hurt.

I was surprised they didn't throw to Morris out of the backfield more. The Bills were all over Hasselbeck and it seemed like that might be a good way to get some pressure off him and get some decent gains in the passing game. But he didn't have a catch.
