MBSL/SSL Week 7 Final (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
With this week's boots, the 9/10 holes were definitely the worst spots to draft from. They are out in 8 of the 13 leagues. But the 9 spot is even worse than the 10, since it has managed only 1 immunity so far. The 10 spot has managed 7. The best overall is weirdly the 11 spot, with 11 immunities of the 84 possible (MBSL3 is being excluded here). Combined with only 5 bootees, the 11 spot is the best overall so far. The 4, 6, and 16 spots are also doing very well this year using this criteria (#survivor+#immunities) with 4 & 6 having 18 and 16 with 17.

Besides 9 (a combined number of 6), the two other worst spots are the 3 (7) and the 7 (6) surprisingly enough. Neither has won an immunity yet.

Here are the totals so far: It's

Bootee's - Top Score* - Immunity - Combined Survivors+Imm

1 4 5 7 16

2 6 5 6 13

3 6 0 0 7

4 2 7 7 18

5 4 8 7 16

6 4 8 9 18

7 7 1 0 6

8 7 7 5 11

9 8 2 1 6

10 8 8 7 12

11 5 10 11 19

12 4 4 4 13

13 6 2 3 10

14 7 6 5 11

15 7 3 4 10

16 4 8 8 17

*Top score is different from Immunity, because Top Score can be scored by already booted players. Immunity can't.

On to the results

MBSL - Team Ramrod wouldn't have got enough to lock in his safety, but it was enough to pass Jackal King, who got nothing out of Marion. Uwgb96 we knew about. Joffer too in 3.

Gocats was 16 down with only the Giants D to go. Thanx to that Dallas O-line, he survives, with MustacheMan being the Bledsoe victim here.

Immunity in 1 and 4 are easy - Old Milwaukee and Red93zj(For the 3rd straight week). In 2 however, we have a tie. Fullback Fro and Fiddles have 158. So we now look to the highest score not used this week. Fro has a lot of big scores used, but Winslow's 9 is the lowest on the board. Fiddles, has 3 scores above that, with Watson's 16 being the best. Fiddles gets immunity.

TLSL - GoCats didn't have a miracle worker on the squad here. He's done, with AllIn getting immunity for next week.

IDP - Another anticlimax here. Fullback Fro is done. Kirby gets immunity next week.

SSL - Good effort, but Rudy is out. TL already calculated it, but here is the confirmation. Tex is out in 2. Winston saved himself in 3, so Steel Dillo is out, while Bass goes down in 4.

Up top, Pimpin' Aint Easy, Rzrback, Fletch, and Construx Boy are the safe group for next week.

WSL - LHUCKS and IwannabeaCowboy saved themselves, so Abrecher is out here. Frank Black, however, didn't come close to saving himself, and is also out.

AhrnCityPounder and BassNBrew are on top here.

PDSL - Looks like I was wrong here. I expected either BostonFred or Bicycleseatsniffer to be on the outs. Both got just enough to pass Duke1948, leaving him as the odd man out. I get immunity for next week

Good Luck Next week...

MBSL - Team Ramrod, Pimpin' Ain't Easy, and Gocats are in the Danger Zone today.

TRR has a target of 13 more points. Fiddles is done @ 107 (And would win a tiebreaker) So 13 pts out of Jacobs(-4) and Feely(-4) can keep him alive. Jackal King is in between the two also, with Barber(-2)

PAE stil has Dal D and TO. He is also down 48. Wouldn't he just be ####ting bricks if he didn't have IMMUNITY? Instead, Uwgb96 is done and done.

GoCats deficit is smaller, but with only the NYGD(-4) to go, NEXT!

In 3 Joffer needed a big week to stay alive. 71 Ain't it. NEXT!

TLSL - Gocats is low man here, and that ain't changing. (And yes, I double checked it was the current week :) , and yes, it still isn't FM ;) )

IDP - Fullback Fro still has a couple of players to go tomorrow, but too big a deficit to overcome. NEXT!

SSL - Rudy, Team Legacy, Winston Smith, and BassNBrew are looking up at everybody else this week at this point.

Rudy still has Eli(-12), Tiki and JJones (1 straight, 1 -19) and is sitting at 75 right now. Radballs is another immunity holder, so the next up is 111 (Aaron R). NEXT!

Team Legacy has 76 and NYG D(-2) Tex has Toomer, Dal D(-21), and Eli(-24) and a 3 pt lead. TL looks doomed.

Winston has Eli and Toomer(-2). Steel Dillo, up 5, has Bledsoe(-6) and Glenn. I'm safe, thankfully, since I'm a little too close for comfort. If they can climb up 20 more, Valence just has Crayton. One of those three should be the victim.

Bass has a pathetic 58 with TO still. The next up is Jmill's 71, but Bledsoe, SHockey, and the idiot kicker(-2) still to go. NEXT!

WSL - Fullback Fro needed his immunity this week, with the lowest overall here. LHUCKS is instead low man, but with Bledsoe and Plaxico(-8) still to go. IWannabeacowboy is 5 up with 90 and 2 (Jacobs and Dal D) to go. Abrecher is the target with 97, as he is done.

2 is pretty cramped at the bottom. Frank Black is @ 64 with Bledsoe. Pimpin Aint Easy has TO and Witten @ 67, while Red93zj has 4 players still @ 70.

FB is probably doomed, but anything is possible.

PDSL - Is probably between BostonFred (72, and Bledsoe(-14) & TO) or BicycleSeatSniffer (75, with JJOnes(-5) and Burress). Another tossup here.

No way. This just can't be No QB for 3 weeks and I'm still hanging on? What in the wide world of sports is going on here?

MY FIRST POTENTIAL BOOT THIS YEAR!Well, with No Quarterback (Sims and Grossman), No Tight End (Heap) and No Kicker (Nedney), I didn't think I'd survive.

Funny though, I think I have a shot tonight. IF Toomer gets shutdown, which is possible. All I need is for Giants Defense to outscore Toomer by 5 points. That can be done in this format.

Worst case scenario:

Toomer - Taking out his big monster week, he averages 9 per game. Fair to do? Maybe not. I'll bump him 20% from his average for it being Monday night. He scores 11 tonight.

Eli goes for 26 on average and he already has 24 from his QB. Give Eli a 20% bump for Monday night = 31 (+7)

Dallas D/ST goes for 11 on average so they're likely done since he's already posted 21 from his Tampa D.

11 for Toomer +7 for Eli = 18 more for Tex tonight on top of a 3 point lead.

That means I need 23 from the New York Football Giants Defense. They average (gulp) 8 points per game.... Where are you guys ???

GMEN !!! I NEED YOU !!!

 I missed immunity last week by 1 stinking point to PAE and now we are both down at the bottom.Better luck next year. :wall:

:pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle:

Happy as can be!! I took a huge risk drafting KJ and McGahee at the first turn,....... having the same bye's!

Unbelievable! :jawdrop:

If my math is right,

Giants Defense has 22 = 20

Toomer has 5 = 5

Eli has 21 = 0

Dallas D = 6 = 0

I was down 3, so I'm up 12 points !!

Whoo Hoo !! I survive a nail biter !!

GMEN , GMEN , GMEN !!!

Talk to your team gang... It works!!

Sorry Jackal, nothing like a garbage time touchdown from B Jacobs to push me past you. I have been living dangerously of late so I expect to see you soon.

I got immunity with a COMBINED total of 8 points from my WRs. Thank You Alge Crumpler. :bowtie:

Knew that week 7 would probably kill me in WSL1 (three of four RBs on bye), and yet Fro was just one tiebreaker point away losing immunity the previous week and getting booted here.

In TLSL Radballs got the short end. He is currently #2 overall in scoring total yet went out in week 2. And that score wasn't even that bad... And we still have FM kicking around as the lowest scorer not OUT already... Ouch. :hey:

In the SSLs I dropped to #9 in scoring total after being #2 the previous week. Terrible week and just barely survived with Holt out on BYE and Portis getting hurt. Thanks Tex! Looking to go out this coming week.

It's not right, I agree but what can I do? With no QB for over 3 weeks now I really shouldn't be here. And yet I somehow live on. As far as I'm concerned, I'm the Jerry Springer of this group. And my last week is coming up next.As for SSLIII, well that's another story.
