McGahee (1 Viewer)

Steel Town

I have misfired on this guy two weeks in a row. Played him against the Browns and sat him last week against Houston. I am not sure what to think at this point. The G-Men are a tough unit, and I wouldn't expect numbers like last week - but I am still a little gunshy to insert him back into the starting lineup at this point. Curious who else is starting him, and is it with any kind of confidence if you are.

Depends on your alternatives. That said, the only reason NOT to start him is the matchup. Don't worry about Rice or McClain when Willis is healthy.

He doesnt have the best of matchups this week and you also have to wonder who gets the carries this week? If I had him on my team I would bench him for this week unless there were just no other options.

You do not have to wonder who gets the carries. Is McGahee healthy? Yes. When he's healthy he has ALWAYS been the main ball carrier.

SCT you and I have been telling anyone who would listen for weeks that McClain was a non factor when Willis was healthy. I don't feel as comfortable stating that Rice is a non factor when Willis is healthy however. I'm still thinking they might play to the matchup a little with those two and in games with bad matchups or if the Ravens fall behind I think that increases the chance for Rice to play more as he appears to have taken most of the passing downs. I might be someone forced to start Willis this week but I'd really prefer to see how the RB situation between Willis and Rice breaks out another week.

Down to Willis or Kevin Smith as RB#2. I need to see one more week of production before I'm sold on McGahee
