Mcnabb going forward out of the bye... (1 Viewer)

McNabb so far has been a complete roller-coaster.

However he has shown his potential to be a dominate top 5 QB.

Could he be the missing piece to a championship this year for a QB starved team?

If it's not too expensive I'd take a shot at him. He's past the bye week and he's a proven talent. He's been up and down due to the injury and the westbrook injury but if Westy can play I think he'll be good and worth the gamble.

Through four weeks he's been crap, crap, superman, steaming pile of crap.

If his owner is giving him away, I'd be game to gamble on him-he has shown the ability to be a top flight qb. However, if his price is too high and you're looking for a former top notch fantasy qb trying to return to glory after injury, I'd just as soon snag Culpepper.

anyone have a price for what's too much for him?

I.E.

Price too high:

Romo / Kitna / Favre

Bargain:

Cutler / E. Manning / Hasselbeck

someone dropped him right after his last bad performance in my league and picked up culpepper. Of course I picked him up immediately even though I have Brady. When Westbrook is playing I still think McNabb will be money.

I agree with Bob. I really doubt you'd be getting McNabb on the cheap right now. You'd need to have him have at least one more bad game, and even still, his name recognition alone will probably make him relatively expensive.
