McNabb Owners: Week 13 Waiver Wire QB Matchups (1 Viewer)

I know some of these guys might not be available in your league, but they seem to be the average QB's on the waiver wire. Many McNabb owners are being forced to play the matchups every week for the rest of the season, what are you doing Week 13?

Losman vs. Chargers

Young vs. Indianapolis

Pennington vs. Green Bay

Harrington vs. Jacksonville

Alex Smith vs. New Orleans

Leinart vs. St. Louis

Gradkowski vs. Pittsburgh

Campbell vs. Atlanta

Garcia vs. Carolina

Brooks vs. Houston

Garrard vs. Miami

Frye vs. Chiefs

Cutler vs. Seattle

I think Pennington should have the nicest game this week, and Leinart should also be a solid play.

leinart should put some yards....i like him best.....i am intrigued by young....like his matchup this week and against houston.

i picked up rivers for week 12. i also have vick. this is a 8 team money league where transactions cost $25 each so there were players left. i'm in 2nd place so i thought rivers would be taken before my chance. my back-up plan was Leinart.

Leinart should throw for some yards against the rams.

McNabb owners should have made a move by now for a real QB...I traded TO and Leinart for Romo and Driver last wednesday.

I would go with Leinart going forward.

I would like to add McNair vs Cinci to this list. At least he is available in my league so im thinking of going with McNair vs Cinci's 32nd ranked pass D instead of Leinart vs STL's 10th ranked pass D.

Not a McNabb owner, but I'm a Kitna / Plummer owner who is going to take a shot with Alex Smith this week (and maybe for 3 of the next 4 weeks).

I've got a sneaky suspicion that the weekly New Orleans shoot-outs will continue this week and that Smith is going to be good for at least 250/1/1. I can almost envision a 300/2/2 scenario. Gore should keep the box full with 7-8 guys and I'm hoping the kid can air it out this week. Call it a hunch (or desparation) ... Smith's been sitting on my bench so far this season.

Anyone else going with Smith this week?

I tried that last week with Frye.. Let's just say it didn't really work out too well...

Wow, a Charlie Frye/ Steve McNair comparison. There's something you don't see every day.

Me neither... :wall: I'm riding the rookie, Cutler! He's in over Frye and Alex Smith this week. The only others on my WW are Losman, Jason Campbell, and Gradkowski.

A lot of people's trade deadline happened before his injury.I had a lucky guess last week with Harrington, and this week I am rolling the dice with Pennington.

Same boat. Dropped Frye and picked up Cutler, Brooks, and V Young. No idea who I will start yet. Young could run wild against the Colts and that game is at home. I may just say screw it and start Cutler and hope for the best.

Same here, our trade deadline was week 10, so it was to late to make a trade. I rode Harrington last week also. This week, I am debating between Harrington, Gerrard (picked up last week), or may pick up Brooks....We have a deep 20 man roster, so not to many left out there...Brooks, Garcia, Campbell :(

Lost McNabb started Frye lost by slightly more than the negative points he produced. I would have almost won had I just started McNabb. I think I'm starting Favre for the rest of the year although I'm putting in a claim on Cutler and Harrington for Frye's slot. 12 team redraft each team is required to roster atleast 2 QB's so pickings are slim.

Those are the exact 3 QB's that I have to decide between this week. I have pretty much ruled out Frye but can't decide between Cutler or Smith. What was your decideing factor? I haven't come up with one yet.

I have Grossman and Rothlesberger.

God help me but I picked up Brooks....I know Oakland sucks but I just look at the next 3 weeks (Houston,Cincy and STL) and can't see him putting up worse numbers than either of the 2 QBs I listed above.

Of course I have that P.O.S. Randy Moss sitting on my bench and I'm not stupid enough to play both of them.

These three QBs were the best I could find on the waiver wire after McNabb went down. Harrington got it done for me against the Lions last week, but I'm truly torn as to which one starts for my team this week.Harrington's in the lineup now by default. Might go with Young. Probably not Garrard.

:(

I miss Donny.

:sadnoddinghead:Our trade window closed last Saturday. Tried making a move for Hasselbeck but it was too late.I'm the league commissioner and selected the trade deadline, so I have no one to blame but myself.

Kitna/Favre/Smith (previously Plummer) owner in one league and a Hasselbeck/Kitna/McNabb owner in another. I have the first round bye locked up in both so I'm definitely starting Smith in one and may pu Smith for McNabb in the other and throw him in there as well. He has an okay schedule the rest of the way as well...Just in case.

Mcnabb owner here....I was able to pick up..

Cutler, Young and Brad Johnson yesterday off of the wire...going with Young at home vs Indy...hoping for 200/1/1 and 60 rushing yds...

am playing QBBC for the rest of the way...

I'm in. Of course, my other options are Delhomme and Harrington. You know you are in QB trouble when your QB1 is fighting benching rumors. :bag:

I'm probably just crazy since I've already clinched a playoff spot...

I'm going with Losman since I have Evans as well. I know Merriman will be back, but...

1. Losman will need to throw to keep up with LT

2. Weather looks a bit nasty, SD D might wither since the weather is below 50. :)

3. McGahee is back, hopefully making SD play the run a bit more

:loco:

Some nice calls in this thread, can we bump for week 14? Tried to include most qbs on waiver wires.

Derek Anderson @ Pittsburgh

Tavaris Jackson @ Detroit (is he playing?)

Kitna vs Minn.

A. Brooks @ Cinci

J Garcia @ Washington

J. Campbell vs Philly

Favre @ San Fran

A. Smith vs Green Bay

Losman @ Jets

Penny vs Buffalo

Feel free to add, discuss.
