Stafford was Sr Checkdown before his injury. I still see big things for Megatron. Just not meant to be. 2 almost TD's and he's on his way this week.

As a Calvin owner I'm getting a little tired of the "almost" though. Last year all year long in Detroit game threads it was "he almost had 2 TDs today", or "he was just an inch away from having a couple TDs today" or "he should've had a TD today but he'll make that play next time". If he's as good as we think he is then he needs to actually start making these plays instead of almost making them. Though to be fair he actually did make that second one today. Horrible rule.

This is a great post. I've made as many apologies for Calvin as anyone around here for the last few years, but at some point you need to start coming up with these. It's what the best receivers in the NFL do. Talent aside, I'm beginning to wonder about Johnson's mental game.
