Have any of you played in the Mendoza baseball game? It looks interesting, but would like some feedback for pros and cons of the game.

Never heard of it. Is the object to mostly suck when batting, like maybe the goal is to only get one hit per every 5 at-bats? Playing a sport where you try to suck might be kind of interesting.

I Googled the 20 page rule book. Somebody put a lot of thought into the scoring system. It seems like a lot of additional complexity for a marginal increase in realism but to each his own.
