heard merriman wrist is swelling up couldnt play. m brown-bears calf injury any word on his replacement and is he worth picking up? 1st round of playoffs this weekend

doesnt look as if brown will play, if not then todd johnson and mike green will be the safeties, johnson was scheduled to play the FS spot with chris harris out, but i believe if brown is out too, then johnson slides to the SS spot and green at FS. if this is the case, and im pretty sure im right, then pittsburgh and its running game make todd johnson a good play. he has put up good numbers when he has played SS in the past and his strength is against the run.
