I noticed two of my CBs alteraun Verner and marcus gilchrist are now listed as Safeties. Did MFL do a recent positional update. if so, does anyone have a list of all of the players that changed position designations. always a couple of gems to pick up after they change.\

The Gilchrist move doesn't surprise me...there had been quite a few rumors about him lining up (and possibly even starting) at SS.

The Verner one I don't expect to stick. It's minicamp tinkering, and my guess is it will get switched back before the season starts.

Coach Pete Carroll says he plans to move defensive end Bruce Irvin to outside linebacker, where he'll compete with Malcolm Smith for the starting job.
Irvin will still see looks as a defensive end in nickel pass-rushing situations, but isn't big enough to ever earn a full time role on the defensive line. Carroll brought up Irvin's versatility as being extremely valuable to the team, and added "We're a 4-3 personnel system that plays 3-4 looks," indicating Irvin will get plenty of pass rush opportunities at outside linebacker. Expect Irvin to win the job from Smith after serving his four-game suspension for PEDs.

As of now, ESPN leagues still list him as a DE (as does the NFL). I'm new to IDP so this stuff is still kind of annoying, especially with FBG continuing to rank him as a DT. It's my own fault for blindly following FBG when I drafted and not checking eligibility (rookie mistake), but wondering if/when FBG will change to reflect this, or if they even will. Does this usually happen?

I think as a DE he was decent to good but as a LB'er he stinks in mho. He won't get the tackles to be a trust worthy starter unless it is a big play type league he might be okay. Think a lesser John Abraham, not near the pass rusher and probably the same weak tackle numbers. Just mho.

Don't have much more info than you do, but saw the same thing in the weekly projections and was surprised. Looked out of place in the top 10 to me. Hughes has been a bust to this point in his career and despite the team change, I've heard nothing to suggest he'd be a top 10 possibility even if he remained eligible at DL.

I anticipate this issue getting worse and effecting more players especially LB/DE tweeners and teams using hybrids. Stand-ups DEs who are listed as LBs but are really DEs. It's going to become a mess.

Check the notes on Biermann who is listed as a DE but seeing time at LB as well
