Season ticket holder here, and I definitely got my money's worth. Here's to a nice FA season and Draft.

AFC EAST CHAMPIONS!!!!

I hope we can get some strong veteran talent in our WR corp and continue to build the defense and OL through the draft.

Keep the heads up, boys. Today hurts, but looking back to last year, they really had an amazing season. If they get a couple of playmakers on offense, obviously WR, no reason they can't be back next year.

The thing that really impresses me is that from what I keep hearing/reading, the players have really bought into Sparano's coaching style and philosophy. When was the last time we had that with this team?

Was it me or did i see a TON of empty seats at today's MIA game? Where were all the people? Honestly, it looked half-full.

It was full, and it was loud. You may have caught the second half kickoff where we were all waiting in long lines to get beer and food.

It was great to wear the colors proudly this year and clearly we are heading in the right direction. I felt the Dolphins were going to lose, but I was surprised at how well the D played. If Pennington didn;t have a horrific game, the Dolphins probably would have won the game. The irony is that the rest of the team was supposed to be the weakness and Pennington was the master of protecting the ball.

FWIW, I think Pennington is a weak starting QB (but excellent backup). His inability to throw the ball downfield hurts the running game tremendously and he is terrible at 3rd and anything above 5 yards because he always dumps off. he also simply can;t make certain throws. His stats get padded because he consistently hits a 7 yard pass on 3rd and 10 which does not help the team; unless you can add to the punt. A microcosm of Pennington was on 4th and 11 he hits a comeback for a 8 yard gain to end the game.

He had a good year with a very healthy team (and 29 new players) and a cake schedule. You can only win with Pennington if you have a great team around him (which can happen), but the Dolphins would be best suited to see what Henne has soon.

I don't want to rain on our parade as the direction is fantastic and to make the playoffs was a great year. I do think next year will be tougher even if we are a better team based on a tougher schedule and less health

Congrats to the Ravens and good luck going forward.

That was an absolute ####-whooping yesterday. Pennington picked a horrible time to have his worst game as a Dolphin. The Raven D was all over him early & often. The Dolphin young Oline was definitely exposed yesterday.

For the last 2 games ther Dolphins only dressed 3 WR's and when Bess left the game they had TE's lining up in the WR slot. This team really needs a true #1 WR for next year - Ginn is not the answer.

I would have been happy this season with 6 wins, and knowing that at least one of the wins had a hand in keeping the Patriots out of the playoffs. The fact that that win happened to come against the Jets was gravy.

Great season. I still will be cautiously optimistic going into next year though. Still a huge glaring hole at WR1, and while I love what he did this season I have trouble believing that Pennington can get us any further than where he got us this season.

What was the rationale behind dressing 3 WR? Did we think we were going to be able to run it on their D? Do we simply not have a dressable 4th WR on the roster? Seems like an incredibly odd decision from a coaching staff that seemed to make all the right decisions for most of the season. I will rest assured that they know better than I.

As a Dolphin's fan, this was an extremely successful season!! They have some young players and a lot of holes, but they played with a lot of spirit which was great to see. I didn't think they would win against that Raven's D, but winning last week and beating the Jets was my Dolphin's Super Bowl for this year!

GREAT SEASON

Great Season. Football hasn't been this much fun for me in a long time - had a blast. Sure, we have lots of holes, but very few teams don't. I'm really impressed with how the defense played yesterday. It made me feel good about our chances for next season - I'm already looking forward to it.

You need a QB that can deliver the ball down field first.

:goodposting: What he said. And Sparano was ROBBED! ROBBED I'm telling you  !!! Just kidding, Smith was deserving of the award.

It was a very good season. I thought they overachieved a bit but I'll take the season and its success as a positive sign of a new era going forward. Pennington had a good season but is not the long term answer. I think his lack of arm strength, which everyone knew about, limited our offense in both the running and receiving game and I hope Henne can be our Romo in the next season or two. I like the overall direction the team is taking and look forward to the future. I don't expect another 11 win season next year but then again, I didn't expect one this year.
