Micahel Smith says Mcfadden to Oakland (1 Viewer)

PFT is echoing the same thing. I wondered if he fell to #5 if the 'Boys would try and trade up with the Chiefs but so much for that.

It'll be interesting to see what goes down in Oakland with Dorsey sitting there.

2 thoughts - Good for Oakland. and Wow, the Glenn Dorsey slide continues. And probably ends at 5 with KC.

hoping its Davis blowing smoke to get an offer to move up from the jets

if so, it would be worth it to throw them a 3rd rounder next year imo

my whole Saturday exitement went down the toilet.

Really wanted Mcfadden to be a jet.

oh well

only 3 more agonizing hours

How do we see the Jets vs. the Raiders for fantasy RB production? The Raiders RBS fared much better last season but the Jets seriously improved their O-line on paper. Between Fargas/Jordan/Rhodes they had 8 100 yard individual games, 1800 rushing yards and only 8 TDS. Where do people think McFadden will have a better rookie year and career, NY or Oakland, fantasy wise only?

KC is stoked to have Dorsey fall into their laps.....

1. Jake Long

2. Chris Long

3. Matt Ryan

4. McFadden

5. Dorsey

6. Gholston

7 **TRADE**

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

But unlike St Looey and Atlanta..... there are no sources out of Oakland that really is worthwhile to listen to. The org is very tight lipped and even if someone is talking it is not Al and that is the only guy that matters. Everyone is thinking what Al is likely to think but since when has Al done anything that everyone thinks he will do?

(maybe I am just trying to hold on to hope here)

I'm surprised about all the negative vibes coming

from the McFadden to Oakland pick.

Obviously they've got plenty of other needs to address, but

they ain't gonna find a franchise RB after the June 1st cuts.

Fargas and Bush are not the answers in Oakland.

I think it's a decent pick.

I'd rather have Dorsey, but I won't lose sleep with DM. A dynamic RB will certainly help Russell.

Yeah, we ain't finding a franchise DT in June either my friend.

Agreed mass plus you don't know what you got in Bush yet, Dorsey is the way to go, but I am getting that feeling, ugh

Valid point, Dorsey is a beast. I love the kid.Unfortunately Oakland is a team with multiple needs.Trading down to stockpile some high picks would be my course of action.KC is in a great spot at #5, to have Dorsey drop to them. They may screw it up by taking Albert. I doubt it though.

I have a bigger issue with the position than the player, although DMC makes me nervous.

RB or a DE? DE

RB or a DT? DT

RB or QB? QB

RB or OT? OT

Like I said, I'll believe it when the pick goes up. I think a move is more likely.

This used to be true. The past couple years info has been leaking though. Maybe Oakland wants the Jet's pick but it seems to me the talent level drops after 5. Better to select Dorsey or McFadden.

I can't help thinking of Marcus Allen when I see McFadden's frame.

Marcus Allen: 6'2" 210 lbs

Darren McFadden: 6'2" 215 lbs

same kinda build and lanky style.

...that's all

Must be seeing DMC throw TD passes, cause other than that DMC doesn't have the cutback ability that Allen had.

HA. Thougt you were talking about what Al Davis saw. If he does turn out like Marcus Allen I will be very, very, happy.
