I finally gave up on him, cut him for Welker. He is immensely talented and I expect him to rebound when the Tampa O gets it together; unfortunately I don't expect that to be this year.

I did the exact same thing two days ago. 10 catches thus far with no TDs just isn't getting it done, and now he has a rookie QB to deal with.No thanks. My sleeper WRs this year both went bust - I targeted Clayton and Matt Jones.

Well, I just picked up Clayton off waivers and dropped Arnaz Battle (16 team league). I'll actually be starting him this week due to bye week issues. In deep leagues, Clayton probably has more upside than any other wr on the ww. If you have an open spot on your roster, I think he's worth a gamble. You're risking nothing for a potentially nice return.

Gruden said in training camp that Clayton looked bigger, stronger and faster than ever.

How that pans out to production..who knows??

On the bright side, I lost my game by more than 10 points, so I don't have to kick myself for making this switch.
