Michael Turner vs the rookie RB's (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen any topics about taking a rookie RB over a current starting RB. I have two questions here - 1) are there any rookies you would take over Turner, and 2) if you would take a rookie over a current starter(s), who would they be?

Depending on FWP's leg, Mendenhall might be a worthy pick.

McFadden looks to be the opening day starter in Oakland, he *could* be headed for a monster season. I'd take him over Turner.

Jonathan Stewart should sidestep the unimpressive D. Williams for the starting role in Carolina, but I'd rather have Turner. Looks like RBBC in Carolina, Chicago.

Ray Rice will see plenty of action as a change-of-pace guy, but with McGahee's history of dings and scrapes and injuries, Rice might start a few games this year.

Before Draft... Turner was worth less than 1.04After Draft.... Turner and 1.01 is very close. I would say DMac is around RB 14 / Turner a couple of slots under. Turner >>> 1.02 (thats mostly because I'm not a big Stewart fan; mostly Injury concerns)

No McFadden fan here, he may produce some OK numbers, think 2/3rds Reggie Bush production first year. He's not going to produce Monster Numbers unless he all of a sudden finds some lateral movement and Kiffen can teach the guy how to keep his legs moving on contact. I can almost agree on Mendenhall, but considering how well Rookies do their first year with outliers like Peterson, Turner is still a safer bet to out produce all of them.
