Mike and the Mad Dog show (Not Done!) (1 Viewer)

Every day last week: "You folks are only saying Wisconsin can win because Noted Aim played Kentucky close. Wisconsin can't do what da Irish did!"

It is excruciating to watch Russo on this roundtable show on MLB Network. He's with ex-players Reynolds and Smoltz, and a real journalist in Tom Verducci, and since he can't possibly keep up on even the slightest intellectual level he is just shouting incoherently and pounding the table.

This guy is a scumbag. Not sure how anyone can defend him treating people like this.

"MAKE YOUR POINT!!!"

He did make his point, Mikey. You're an angry d-bag.
Wow. What a complete dickbag
I wish he'd get hit by a city bus and linger in pain for 30 hours before meeting the devil.
This is possibly a bit much.
25 hours then.
Unacceptable. No less than 28.

Thanks, but it's not pointless at all. One, it's a labor of love. I really enjoy it. Secondly, Bob's Blitz posts all of my videos with my blessing, and he tweets it out also. He's got a huge following so I know lots of people enjoy the effort.
Had a friendly acquaintance in DC that used to listen to Kornheiser's show and call in to Rome and report on Tony's complete lack of sports knowledge (how do you do a sports show when you don't watch the games??). Great stuff, and he was right as rain. Drilled Kornheiser a new one every day. So what happens? Tony went on to MNF and PTI.

Moral of the story? It's good to be the King.

I need to put a crowbar in my wallet to spring for a professional video cutter. The free one leaves that distortion between clips. :topcat:

The caller before that got him to say "noine" about forty times in the span of three minutes.

"But Granderson has walked noine times. Noine. He leads the league with noine walks. Noine."

:lmao: Great shtick.

"Mike, hey thanks for taking my call. I was wondering if you could go ahead and break down the BMC, Cannondale, and Trek US teams and how you think the riders will compare to the rest of the field for the 2015 Tour de France."

ETA: This call is preferably made the Wednesday before or Friday after the 1st round of the NFL draft.

There is certainly nothing wrong with the opinion. If I were on the air for 13 hours a week, I'm sure that I would be wrong about plenty of things. But what makes him so insufferable and detestable is his complete intolerance and vitriol for any opinion contrary to his own. Despite the fact that said opinions are so frequently off-base. But I'm sure that he brought up the fact that he might have been wrong about this after Duke won.

The thing is, he wasn't wrong. Duke winning it all doesn't invalidate his claim that they should've been a #2 seed. It only means they played well in the tourney.
