Mike and the Mad Dog show (Not Done!) (1 Viewer)

Many folks consider Brown to be the best WR in the league right now. He's not "underrated" by any measure.

Just another example of this guy thinking he's smarter than his audience.
Yep. But underrated could be the average fan's public perception. Go ask the average fan about Antonio Brown. It'll be like asking them about Rancid the band. You'll get a much lower response rate than one thinks.

But your point is taken. No doubt. It's just that when you have so much to nail a guy on, don't let him wriggle free because he used a sporting cliche geared toward the general public.

New Rancid album sounds really good, and they've had some clunkers.

"I'm not gonna address it."

(let's caller on air who makes all the points, doesn't get itchy "dump" figure as usual, surprise surprise)

"Look, I don't talk about other people. I'm not commenting..."

...

"I don't look in the rear view mirror."

....

"If anyone wants to compare years, or ratings, or salaries, I'll go toe to toe with anyone on it."

"But I'm not commenting on it."

Amazing

Michael Kay is a no talent Yankee schill hack.

Francesca has plenty of faults but there is no way I can possibly listen to the big headed whiner.

"If anyone wants to compare years, or ratings, or salaries, I'll go toe to toe with anyone on it."
Everything that's wrong with him, in one sentence.

I've never, ever before seen such a flawed person who has the delusion that he's superior to everyone else.

Let's use the actual quote and not my memory, because it's amazing. See how long it takes for you to figure out the best part:

"I'm not worried about people who are petty, jealous or whatever. Let the record show, if they've accomplished what I've accomplished, God bless them. They want to match resumes? They can match three things: resumes, longevity, ratings, paychecks. And when I look at any of those areas, I'll match them anytime. Bring it on. We'll look at all those areas and we'll see who's winning. Otherwise it's all just petty, jealous nonsense. That's all it is.

Numbah One!

At least Francesa is good for some laffs. Kay is just unlistenable.

Perfect for NY though. Best city in the world, most knowledgable fans, classiest franchises like the Giants and Yankees -- just ask any New Yorker. Everything is the best and that's Mike's persona. His take is the one truth and the only opinion that matters. Where that proves not to be the case, meh, we're not gonna werrey about it, because numbah one. Call it arrogance, delusion, whatever, that market eats it up.

He just interviewed Antonio Brown and TOLD HIM that he's the most underrated player in the league.

That's not really a compliment, Mikey. It's like he's saying he - with his superior football knowledge - is the only one who recognizes Brown's ability.

I just heard Francesa claim he never said in that interview with A-Rod that he was getting railroaded.

Literally heard the audio of that quote earlier this morning on Boomer and Carton. Of course he also took a shot at them..."I never said he got railroaded. Maybe those guys (B&C) don't know what that word means."

Mike told a caller the lack of Giants' LB talent not a concern because the "NFL isn't built like that" because it's all about passing in today's game.

Giants rushing yards allowed vs. Seattle: 332 and counting

He also said that against the Jets' sorry secondary, Ben might have his third straight game with 6 TD passes.

He had 1, and that was only because of a busted coverage with less than 2:00 left in the game.

Not to mention that 3 days after Mike called him the most underrated player in the league, Brown had his worst game in 2 years, fumbling the ball away twice.

I was dying today listening to Mike break down the mechanism by which the two guys stranded on the scaffold would be rescued.

He said "mechanism" 12 times in one segment. Even when he searched for a different word, he gave up and came back to mechanism.

Is there youtube of this. This stuff is always best described by the pope.

RN, who would you rather see bankrupt and ruined more, Randy Moss or Mike?

BTW, didn't hear the scaffold breakdown, but just imagining it makes me lol.

His level of hatred for Moss is really odd to me. I mean I hate him too, but as a football fan I was glued to 30 for 30 last night. For a guy who is a student of the NFL to sit there and say he'd never watch a documentary about one of the best to ever play the game is pretty damn close-minded IMO. And it's a pretty fascinating story.
