At about 5:15 eastern today, New York Giants President Mike Francesser said the Giants owners have not yet asked for his opinion on Coughlin's future nor have they confided in him.

For reasons unknown, he's insisting that the Giants declare right now - prior to week 12 - whether they are bringing Coughlin back next year.

 
Today:

"My gut tells me the Chiefs win by a large mawgin."

Raiders win.

Tomorrow:

"I had a feeling the Raiders might win. The last five games they've played tough. Even Denva didn't pull away til late."

A caller asks Mike if Kentucky could beat the Sixers. Mike goes into a diatribe about how much better the worst pro team is than the best college team. How any pro team would destroy a college team if they were to play. His last sentence to the caller was that the Oakland Raiders would beat Alabama by 80 points.

Six minutes later, another caller asks him if the Jets would have scored on 1st and goal from the 2 yard line, something the Giants couldn't do vs. San Fran. Mike said he doesn't get into hypotheticals. They're silly.

i heard that. All the callers he blows off for asking stupid questions and he sat there and answered that one.

Also is anybody else able to conduct an interview like big Mike? It's as if he is the one being interviewed.

How about the fact he kept insisting an 11-5 wouldnt make the playoffs in the NFC. His proclimation didnt even last one game

Fatso has been writing Coughlin's obituary for about 8 weeks now. One of the "NFL insiders" on ESPN just said he'd be shocked if Coughlin is not brought back because the Giants have shown great improvement.

Can't wait to hear him spin this one.

The #1 pick and the guy most pundits were saying was the best QB prospect to come out since Peyton Manning. And also the guy the Colts let the aforementioned Manning walk for.

Yeah, I tend to agree with Mike here...though it's not so clear-cut. BB has taken that to a new level. 4-wide 100% of the time one week, 2TE the next.
