Mike Bell or Wali Lundy? (1 Viewer)

So I've added both Mike Bell and Wali Lundy to a dynasty team. I now have at least 1 starting 3rd rb I think. But Im going to need to move one of them to fill other positions. So, which one of these guys is in the better situation, has the bigger upside, and has the better chance of starting Long Term? I havnt really seen either play, so I cant judge their talent myself.

I'd actually say Lundy, Mike Bell is not a top talent, so even if he starts this year on the Broncos, his career as a starter will be short since he'll be replaced sooner than later, just like most of the other Denver RBs.

But Lundy is a "top talent?"

Don't quote me on this. I didn't start the thread.

Sorry, I thought this was a better thread for the Shark Pool. Im not specifically asking for advice about my league or team, I was trying to compare these two players both short and long term, based on talent, situation, opportunity, all of that.

I don't know who the bigger talent is. But there's no doubt that Bell's got a much bigger upside and is in a better situation at present. Bell's the probable #1 back on the best running team in the league. (Granted, he'll be splitting carries with Tatum Belll.) There's absolutely some real value there, and I would not assume, as the previous writer does, that he'll quickly be replaced either. If someone does what he needs, Shanahan couldn't give a rat's ### whether they were drafted. Remember TD was a 6th round pick and Rod Smith was undrafted.Lundy's looking pretty good in the preseason too. But he's got a lot of competition in Houston. Davis has been the man there and likely will continue to be if he ever gets over his injuries. Even if Davis doesn't come back soon, Lundy's still competing with Morency, who's also looked good in preseason. Then there's Antowain Smith, who's old and mediocre, but he's a veteran and may very well vulture carries from whoever starts. So no question, Bell's overall the much more valuable back at present.

I agree with you. Some guys are a little bit overeager to send people to the assistant coach if there's any element of comparison between players.
