Just traded for Wallace before last nights game. I was very happy with the 82 yd td of course but pretty dissapointed with the way he was used after that. 1 catch for 11 yds and Ben didnt even look at him for the rest of the game.

Tennessee through the coverage his way the rest of the game. I'm guessing they wanted someone else to beat them, since Pitt had no running game against them.
Appeared to me the O Line woes didn't give Ben enough time to wait on Wallace's deeper routes. Ben was forced to hit the short quick routes run by Brown/Sanders/RB as he was scrambling for his life 2 seconds after the snap.
He did drop another TD pass. It wasn't the easiest ball in the world to catch but it was one I would have thought he'd made. So at least he was getting targeted in the red zone.
I agree with an earlier poster that Tenn decided to move the coverage to his side more.
This has always been an issue with Wallace, high risk/reward, although last year he was more involved in the short to intermediate passing game. Last night was encouraging as far as the bomb went but he did seem to disappear after that. He's a good WR2 with #1 upside if you can pick those games, lol.
There's a Brown thread complaining about lack of production even though he gets a ton of targets.Which would you rather be after last night? An A Brown owner or M Wallace owner?
Pitt needs to involve him in the short passing game. Why?
1) he is one of their best players
2) he is their fastest player
3) short passes will either open up the double move or allow pitt to chip away at defense - take what they give you
I think Pitt did a poor job of play calling. Sure they have injuries, but they still didnt take advantage. You have to get the ball into your playmakers hands and Wallace is their best playmaker.

One change in this offense that is limiting targets for both Brown and Wallace is the re-emergence of Heath Miller. He is getting targeted a ton and making that look like a great idea (how about that awesome one-handed grab last night).
