I ran a story in the Email Update from an AOL blog last night with this entry:

OAK - WR Williams Blowing His Chance? Source: Michael David SmithSaid coach Lane Kiffin: "However you want to phrase it, he's blown a chance," Kiffin said. "I think that he would tell you the same thing. This is a situation that favors the Raiders because this is Mike's chance. I think he's going to come out fighting, but we'll see." [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ OUR VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]It's still May but this isn't the way Williams wanted to start. Hamstring injuries always have that undercurrent with them that they're caused by a guy that wasn't in shape trying to do too much. But we don't know that. All that we know is that Williams should be impressing coaches but instead, he's hobbled for now. Stay tuned.
As you know, Williams tweaked his hamstring in mini camp already and just can't seem to catch a break. It's important to note though that the "blown a chance" comment from Kiffin was made before the injury. Kiffin was talking about Detroit. I should have been more clear and I'll update it for tonight's email.J

I think you might just want to change the date on that and send it out again in a few months when Mike is 5th on the depth chart behind James Jett.

As you know, Williams tweaked his hamstring in mini camp already and just can't seem to catch a break continues to show his inability to show up in shape and ready to work. Fixed.
