Lions WR Mike Williams to play Thursday

Written by: Associated Press ¦ 11/21/2006

Rod Marinelli also announced Tuesday that little-used wide receiver Mike Williams will play against the Dolphins. Two receivers - Eddie Drummond (concussion) and Devale Ellis (shoulder) - are questionable, making room for Williams, the 2005 first-round pick who has not caught a pass in limited action this season.

they said that a few weeks ago.

They re-signed Corey bradford last week, I'll believe it when I see it

Of course he'll play. There's gotta be some sort of turkey leg at stake here.
No BMW is the Turkey this year!!! I second the statement..."I'll believe it when I see it!"All I know is Joey Harrington is gonna light the Lions up on Thursday!!! I hope he does and then Ford would have to fire Millen!

Maybe he can be used as a decoy?

See - this is the guy you think that wethink that you think that we think we'll never pass the ball to...

Nah, decoys have to be fast...

Off subject here, but do you think Joey gets booed or cheered? My first thought was booed like crazy, but as bad as the Lions are without him, I think most people realize it wasn't ALL his fault. If he has a monster game and the Lions look like...well the Lions, are most people going to jump on the Joey bandwagon?

If I was there I would be cheering for him. He was nothing but a class act no matter how many games he lost or who threw him under the bus.JOEY JOEY JOEY!

Exactly. I remember them saying this before and he either never touched the field or played one or two plays...kinda like a decoy or something.

I will guarantee you that Joey gets a standing ovation for his first drive.

When the game gets out of hand, the chants will alternate between "FIRE MILLEN" and "JOEY JOEY JOEY". Maybe even a "LET's GO TIGERS" like earlier this season.

I just called Wal-Mart and they still have Harrington Lions jerseys in the back of the store. I am buying one ($8.95, obviously not the authentic ones, but it will do) and will be sitting at the 50-yard line.
