Millenials: What will your kids & grandkids blame on your generation? (1 Viewer)

provided the planet is around long enough for you superheroes to spawn a next generation or two, what with the boomers actively seeking to destroy the universe after they suck up every last resource, what will be happening in 40-50 years time that your generation will be blamed for?

Plastics and conspicuous consumption.
Gen Z are the change the world folks. Millenials are getting their kids LOL Surprises and still drinking Fiji water.

If people changed their consumption habits, instead of waiting for corporations to change their production, we'd go a long way to solving the climate change problem.

I’ve been using the same straw for weeks.

You’re welcome.

This falls way harder on boomers and Gen X than it does Millennials. With that said:

Reality TV. Remember when you could watch interesting shows with real actors or informative shows that would teach you things? Not anymore, now every network is 90% reality tv that is 100% fake and staged. I have had friends go on different reality shows, they are all fake.

Sure on the Boomers, but they'll all be dead or uploaded to the cloud.

I'm not in Marketing, but the general consensus that I've gleaned while dealing with the marketing folks is that Millenials are much more brand conscious, while Gen X is much more brand skeptical (that whole anti-authority stance). That being said, I remember being disgusted my dad would rock New Balance in the 90s (Nike or Adidas only) and now proudly rock the big white N myself, so it may be a function of age, not an inherent generational characteristic.

Brand consciousness goes hand in hand with conspicuous consumption.
