Mizzou Race Activist "Too Many White People" (1 Viewer)

This woman I am irritated with might not be African American, looking at the picture I can't really tell so rather than indict the entire African American community I will just leave the story up and see where it goes.

 
Race relations are getting better - to think otherwise is to not understand what things were like 50+ years ago.

They are better today than they were 50+ years ago. Are they better today than they were a decade ago? I cant say that's necessarily true.

So we should allow this bad behavior based on the actions of Caucasians in the 1860s and 1960s? 

There is always going to be something horrible you can point to on the other side but this is an activist and you want to condone the behavior because of the history of whites? We'll never get anywhere with that kind of mentality as a group. 

 
I just heard this latin kid say something about black people at the deli.

She was an activist that said something stupid.  

Activists do that every day.  Frankly, any activist group that tries to hijack a tragedy for their own ends needs to check themselves.  BLM people have as much to say as an Orlando vigil as PETA as far as I'm concerned.  

I'm not excusing her behavior because of white guilt, you bonehead.  I'm processing what she said, dismissing it as a dumb thing said by a girl in an inappropriate venue.  

Whether she said that thing about whit epeople or not, I'm not interested in hearing BLM voices after 50 gay folk got murdered.  Time and a place for anything.  

If this thing gets you upset, you shouldn't even leave the house.  Jesus.

 
Also, glad to know that bad behavior ended in the 1960's.  That'll be good news to black people.

Maybe they were too overly sensitive, I've had a lot of white people telling me that's been going around lately.  

Let me ask, is your plan to come in and start a thread every time one group says something not nice about another group?  Serious question.

But IF she IS African American, well then clearly we SHOULD indict the whole African-American community. Don't be such a moron.

 
Bizarre, obnoxious, overly self serious woman. Didn't we all know idiots like this in college? People like that can't survive off campus. I guess the sad thing is that it appeared to be a sort of vigil and it was immediately turned into that girl's personal, droning soap box.

It goes on and on, I could have fired up this thread many times, I chose today. Your real issue is actually me and putting this forth in the FFA?

What are you folks eating for breakfast? I'm worried about some of you. MOP is not the issue here.

No, i just don't want to make it all about BLM if that's in fact what/who she is an activist for. When BLM speaks, they don't say this is only representative of us few on stage, they speak as if they are speaking for all blacks.

The issue is white racism quite frankly. I know it's not a subject most folks want to give a lot of credibility to and it's usually laughed at but I think it merits discussion at some point. You cannot allow discrimination of any kind to exist. They have anti-Semite laws, maybe there needs to be a definition for minorities who preach white hate. 

The only reason whites put up with it is the guilt that is heaped upon them by society and media outlets...social engineering. 

 
First of all she has a very annoying voice and is a "passive-aggressive" type of speaker.  It is amazing that most of the crowd did not get up and leave.  Second I want the chick to her left playing nose tackle for the Lions next year.  Third if no white people were there she would be talking to herself.

Why would it have credibility?  

White racism is a big problem in this country?  How has it been manifesting itself?  

I ask because I haven't felt it personally.  Doesn't mean it doesn't exist.  I just haven't experienced it personally.  Probably because I'm insulated up here in NYC.  

 
This is like the WWE when wrestlers turn on each other...puts the libs in a tight spot...they don't like to have to take sides on something like this...instead we get the old resort to humor and say you white-folk have had it oh so tough and let's not generalize...unless it works for us...

I have experienced it first hand in Los Angeles and Miami, wish I hadn't. I've had more racism in Miami pop up than anywhere, whites don't make up much of the population in Miami, more than once my wife and I have had to leave a restaurant because they simply won't wait on us.

No, that's not what MOP's problem is.  He stated it clearly.  White racism is the problem, not hijacking a vigil for 50 dead gay guys.  Someone said that there were too many white people there, and that needs to stop.  

We cannot have discrimination of any kind, and if MOP needs to step over 50 dead gay guys to make his point, he will.

It should be noted that white people have found their anti-Blank label to latch on to. 

-By God, we fought hard to help LGBT rights get passed in this country due to an extensive media blitz to make the middle class feel sorry for the LGBT community...

-Now that whites are out in droves for a "Cause" where there happen to be a lot of minorities...and folks like BLM who thrive on hateful rhetoric are now at a loss for words. 

It seems like whites own the anti-gay slurs now, you want to galvanize and unite a lot of white folks, attack a gay nightclub or gay church or any gay event, they are coming out in droves it seems.
