MJD (1 Viewer)

Is the bad forecast still on track? If so it does not seem like a good matchup.

First off Pitt Run D is friggin good.

Second ...we've seen what happens to this field in bad weather.

Third MJD does not seem like a mudder ... seems to be more of a fast track (Turf) back. Anyone no if this is true.

What type of surface does Jacsonville play on?

Opponent has Taylor I have MJD ... I think they will both suck so I am considering benching MJD and letting my opponent get a goose egg with Taylor.

Looked up some stats

Jacksonville plays on Grass

MJD has not played many games on Turf (though his averages are better on turf)

I am starting him because I don't have any better options (could have started Dayne, but did not). What are you going to do?

EDIT: I would say that he IS a good play if you are going against someone who is loaded and need a high-risk, high-reward play. He could get you nothing, but he could also get you 100 total yards and two TD's.

WOW, when was the last time a back got that kind of a game against the Steelers, especially a team's non-starter.

He gets double-digit carries and is obviously a factor in the passing game. He can take it the distance every time he has the ball. If you need to swing for the fences this week, you might as well. But, you could just as easily get 40 yards and no TD's out of him. That's all I'm saying.

MJD is a low reward high risk start in bad field conditions. I wouldn't worry about snow or wind as long as the FIELD CONDITIONS are ok. Sleet and/or rain and you might as well forget it.

I had planned on starting him. Now my decision will come down to gametime field conditions at Pitts versus whether Haynesworth plays, as K Smith is my only other option.

My other RBs are hurt and there aint nuthin on the WW. Oh wait, I just looked. when did somebody drop Jullus Jones? Him and Chris Brown are out there. Julius is looking pretty good to me right now................gotta see who I can cut.

You can say that again.
