Simoneau is kicking his butt at camp. Every online resource has him as the winner of the starting Mike.

Simmons started slow and has recently struggled with his balky knee. Simoneau has played better than ever and has a clear hold on the job for now. If Simmons can't remain healthy consistently, he may struggle to even get nickel snaps.

If Simmons wins the job and plays in the nickle defense, he will have some value. It is still early too. There is a month to go before this is decided.Simoneau seems to be a poor fit in the nickel. If Simmons doesn't play well, he may not play in the nickel, as Jene said above. If that is the case, Shanle might play in the nickel and his value would go up a bit.
